MacFevre Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 It looks pretty cool. metalnwood Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 That kind of motion simulator has been around for years, usually it's not powered by air but by cheap windscreen wiper motors. A search for 2dof motion sim will probably bring up examples of it.
Thick8 Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 (edited) The first powered itineration was driven by two automotive windshield wiper motors. I first saw it maybe 10 years ago. Pretty cool. The original design was manually driven by the joystick. http://www.x-simulator.de/wiki/Joyrider_2DOF_full_motion_simulator_by_TronicGr John Edited September 5, 2013 by Thick8 All of my posted work, ideas and contributions are licensed under the Creative Commons - Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0,) which precludes commercial use but encourages sharing and building on for non-commercial purposes, ©John Muldoon
