DCS P51 won't run

Hi folks, need help -I just bought DCS P51, installed it, have both DCS World and DCS Multiplayer icons on the desktop, but instantaneously when clicking either, I get "Program Unable to start correctly (0xcooooo7b) Click to close the program" notification from Windows....I get the same message from any of the listed programs in the f\older (Updater, etc) Unistall works. What's happening? I'm running Windows 7 Pro with AMD graphics

DCS 1.2.6 needs 64 bit OS , My guess is you have 32 bit OS installed. But post your system specs please.

 

If that's the case revert to 1.2.5

As I think that version is still 32 bit. But I'm not sure.

I have a Dell Studio XPS running windows 7 at 64 bit, intel Core i5, 650 At 3.2 ghz x 2, 5 GB of Ram. I am definitely running at 64 bits....Any other ideas?

Make sure your windows install is error free before installing any software, checkdisk etc, (and dvd) repair feature of windows.

I guess some files are corrupted.

(A fresh install of windows can do wonders if really everything fails, if you backup important stuff ofcourse.)

I ran the verification scan on my windows 7 install - no errors or corrupt files. So I am still at a loss - thanks for trying to help me!
