Hi all,

I have the Shkval screen in a viewport in the bottom center of my monitor, so it's easier to see than using the real one in the cockpit. I was wondering how I can deactivate the original Shkval display to have a nicer appearance and hopefully save some frames. I found this thread

http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=71255 but it is old and the config files have changed. There is a line like the one described in the file, but changing it does not do anything.

Anyone have an idea?

Shkval:

<your DCS folder>\Scripts\Aircrafts\_Common\Cockpit\Viewport Handling.lua

On line 31 delete "render_purpose.GENERAL"

All line looks:

purposes = {--render_purpose.GENERAL,

ABRIS:

"ABRIS_init.lua" in folder BlackShark\Scripts\Aircrafts\Ka-50\Cockpit\ABRIS

like Shkval but line 11

aehhmm, this does not work as intended. The is nothing like that in line 31. The only p"purposes" endtry is in line 57. If I delete the GENERAL statement it also disables the ABRIS. But I want to keep my ABRIS and only get rid of the Shkval

Yeah, i just re-installed the PC on Windows 8.1 and DCS too. But doesnt work it with 1.2.6, i just try it... Its interesting, because on version 1.2.5 it works fine. They must change something...

EDIT 21.9.2013: IT WORKS!! You must have set the Shkval on the 2nd monitor and it works... I tried only 1 monitor yesterday and Shkval and ABRIS was disabled. Now i am on 2 monitors (Main + Shkval) and only Shkval is disabled in cockpit..
