Cant join servers / people cant join my server DCS 1.2.6 Update 1

when joining a server it loads the mission and then I get this screen.

 

 

this screen appears for a split second then right after I get connection interrupted. My friend is having the same trouble when joining other servers an or my server. I never had this issue before the DCS 1.2.6 Update 1 my friend is also running the same update as me. The mods I am running are DCS Enhanced Terrain and Combined Airfield Texture Pack.

Have you tried joining different servers? (sorry this is a bit basic I know)

 

If so, please run a DCS repair from...

 

Start Menu / Programs / Eagle Dynamics / Repair DCS

 

Then try to join again without your mods and let us know.

when i run the repair it started downloading the update for a second time i will tell you if it works after the update finishes.

alright the update is finished I removed the mods, but I am still getting the same issue with the connection interrupted on all servers.

Connection Interrupted normally means your failing the Integrity Check however running the repair means this should not happen and the issue is something else.

 

I know this is not ideal but my only other suggestion is to try a fresh install, again sorry this is not very creative but these basic steps have to be checked off.

 

Also, please post up your system specs when you get the time.

I would try a user / saved games / dcs folder rename... then try a repair again or just start the game. Rebuilding that folder has been a cure for MANY people-

 

Otherwise as Maverick points out a reinstall may be necessary- but if you do that make sure to "back up" your saved games DCS folder so you don't lose any custom settings.

I downloaded the Steam version of DCS world I am able to play on servers now. I guess I am just going to uninstall my other DCS world. Thank you for your help and patience.
