doebro2010 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I bought the K50 and would like to learn this one. But my problem is with three screens that I need the cockpit to bring back a little. with / it is not far enough. support says it is not a 6 degree cockpit like the P51. is there any solution for my problem duke
seikdel Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 It is a 6dof cockpit like the P-51, but I'm not sure that I understand your question. Are you saying you need to zoom out a bit? You can either map an axis to "zoom" in the Ka-50 controls, or you can use the numpad / and *. If you have the 3 screens (Main, shkval and ABRIS), you can either get another monitor or switch to a single screen layout. Both of those displays are actually located in the cockpit, so unless you have a second display, they probably aren't worth the room they take up on a single monitor.

Well you did understand it but the only thing I want to have is: to zoom out a little more than the numpad /. so after zooming out with the numpad / I would like to zoom out a little further. I use the 3 screens for the whole cockpit.
chardly38 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 (edited) You will need to edit your view Lua file. Go to--- C: drive / DCSWorld/Config/View....open the Sever.LUA file (with notepad++ if you allready dont know) and go to line 92 (I think). change - CameraViewAngleLimits ={20.000000,120.000000} I have set the last numbers to 140.000000 Thats what works for me. The first set of numbers is how close you can get and the last is how far back Note that DSC does not want you to edit these files because thay want you to edit them in you saves games folder. The read me folder will tell you what you should do.
