Number of aircraft on the carrier flight deck

Was just looking at Wags' last Su-33 updates and some shots show multiple aircraft on the flight deck. I'm wondering if these are static or AI.

 

Right now, it seems we can only have 2 planes on the flight deck at one time which makes it a very lonely place. Would love to see more "activity".
