Visceral Raptor Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Hi, This is the first flight sim I've played, and I'm quite enjoying it. However, I'm having some annoying control/binding issues. I have the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick, and when I first started up the game, my throttle flap on my joystick was not working. It had no effect on the game no matter what I did to it. I looked down at my throttle and changing the throttle flap did not change the position of the throttle in my plane. I didn't like the whole page up/page down keys to change throttle thing, not as much finesse as a throttle flap. After I downloaded this profile (http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=81116), I got the throttle flap to work as I expected it to: change in the throttle flap on my joystick caused a change in the throttle in-game. If I did not change the throttle flap, the throttle in-game remained in the same position. On the dive-bomb CCIP unguided bomb training mission, I found that pressing the Space Bar did not release the bombs. I went to the control options, and saw that the Space Bar was bound to Weapon Fire. I could not change the Weapon Fire binding directly to my joystick trigger, so I had to go about it in an indirect way. I rebinded Weapon Fire to ' (the key right below escape, or when pressed in combination with Shift, is ~) which I believe has something to do with multiplayer chat. Then on my Logitech Profiler, I changed my joystick trigger to bind to ', and I could occasionally release the bombs. However, this is not a good fix, as the trigger only sometimes fires weapons and it is not consistent at all. On training missions after the CCIP unguided bomb drop, I continued to have inconsistency in firing weapons. Is there some way to bind my joystick trigger directly to Weapon Fire? Because when I tried to bind joystick trigger to Weapon Fire, the area for joystick binding is greyed out, I am very confused.
Visceral Raptor Posted November 24, 2013 Author Posted November 24, 2013 I fixed my problem by resetting all the controls to default and then going to Axis Commands and changing "Thrust" to JOY SLIDER 1. Make sure to push the throttle flap all the way up or down for the game to recognize that you want to assign the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro's throttle flap to the in-game throttle.
wolfgaming424 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 i was able to fix it by pressing the modifiers butten in the bottom left and removing joy_btn1
