Hey guys. Im new here.

I cant seem to get a solid explanation for the padlock functions.

I can get them to work pretty normally outside of a few functions not having areas to set in my joystick commands.

My question is sometimes (like right now) I start the mission with my cockpit locked center view. But not just center view. Its like its padlocked on my center hud and when I fly my view shifts like in real life. This is not gforce enabled. I checked that.

Needless to say this view is kick ass. Its kind of like track ir but with no trackir. Everyone should give this view a wirl. Its awesome. But I cant get turn it off, or on! My pov hat is mapped perfectly but still cant look around wile in cockpit. I can look around in every other view but not in cockpit. And im not in any locked snap view I believe.

Im using a good ol saitek x45 if it matters.

Could this be the weir 3d view that is disabled or what not here. Not much explanation in this post.

Please help!

please sticky this because all over the net people are having the same issues and no padlock real explanation. All the posts go ghost and no replies.

I'm not sure if this helps, but looking at that post he is talking about the click and pan method, accessed by pressing left Alt + C.

Try pressing left alt+C once or twice while in cockpit in case you have switched it on by accident.

Mick. :)
