When i bought fc3 it said it required an original lock on install, i have lock on gold with 2 cds included but the 2nd one doesn't work on my window 7 because it has starforce. i installed the first cd and then fc3 and it seems to work fine, is that how you do it? am i missing anything?

the website directions aren't really clear.

Yes this is correct.

 

Lockon gold contains

1. Lockon

2. Flaming cliffs 1 addon (with starforce)

 

You don't need the addon.
