Lonewolf DS Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 I have been having a problem connecting to DCS World all I get is Cant connect to Master. Even on the register screen it says Something went Wrong. I cant even get digitalcombatsimulation.com page to load. I have a netgear routher with port 10308 forwarded. I can access the home page on my wifes laptop but not on my desktop which tells me its not a router issue. I have deleted DCS and reinstalled but still no luck. Turned firewall off and get same result. Turned avast off and same result. Tried to go through steam and samething. I am out of ideas. This started a few weeks ago when I tried to go to DCS home page and all it does is time out on both firefox and IE. Any ideas ?
ENO Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 When you deleted DCS, did you also go back into the user / saved games / and delete the DCS folder? Quite often deleting or renaming that file and allowing the game to "rebuild" it can help resolve most network related issues. In addition, once you get rolling make sure you go into the options menu in the Multiplayer screen and select LAN as your SPEED option. Not doing so will undoubtedly cause you to experience connection issues. "ENO" Type in anger and you will make the greatest post you will ever regret. "Sweetest's" Military Aviation Art
L0op8ack Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 (edited) 'login' will try to connect Master( https, digitalcombatsimulation.com ) Master is not WORLD-wide, just EU-wide Clients and Server will try to 'Reconnect Master' every some minutes in MP, screen frozen while connecting. That's the only reason why Asia servers can NEVER run more than 1 day. Edited December 13, 2013 by L0op8ack
