Guest wot0412 Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 Hi, I'm new to this game and enjoying playing it. BTW I recently noticed that if I roll and keep my upside-down position, The engine sounds like stops. I just guess maybe it's because of gravity that keeps fuel from getting into the cylinder. But I think it's very unlikely. I think engineers at that time managed not to have such problem by using some kind of spraying method. I am just want to know if this is a bug or historically correct. thank you.

For that reason you must limit inverted flying to 10 seconds -- which is plenty of time for any normal or combat maneuvers." So, it is historically accurate for the P-51 engine to die after 10 seconds of inverted flight because it is not getting any oil. White Owl Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 You can fly upside down for longer. You just need to keep positive Gs through the roll or loop or whatever else.
