hey guys, anyone using the (Asus MX299Q 29" LED monitor, 21:9, 5ms) for gaming? i have no idea how 5ms will influence flaming cliffs 3... but if anything, 21:9 would be the ideal screen for flight sim gamers who wants two screens, right...? not a fan of first person shooter games at all, just looking for a wide screen monitor for flight sims. i can't stand the common 16:9, 24"

You should be OK as long as you were able to run the same pixel resolution on your 24".

Choose your aspect ratio in the options.

If you decide to go with a multiple monitor setup; graphics memory is critical to retain a playable frame rate

I have a triple monitor setup at 3382 X 1900 and my older NVidia 550s with 1 gig in SLI couldn't keep up when I upgraded to FC3.

NVidia 770s @ 2 gigs each and SLI handle the extended resolution perfectly.

Some say that all men should get in touch with their 'Feminine' side.

When I finally got in touch with mine, she turned out to be a Crazy Cat Lady.

29" is too small for that aspect ratio. It makes the view look like I am looking through a slit. I like the idea but until they start making 40" monitors like that, I'll pass.
