question from newbie...

:D hi all!!!:D

 

I am new to lock on, i must say, i love this game... though i am haveing alot of problems understanding and remembering everything!!!;)

 

I was wondering if there is a mod that allows you to use a microphone w/ speech engine?

 

I notice on the training missions, that the instructor is talking to tower for clearance and such, I then realized after awhile that he is only protending... you must hit the apro. buttons.

 

So, i thought why don't they make these games with speach engines, so that you can talk to tower, wing mate, ground troups,ect.?

 

I think it would make these games way more cooler!!!:icon_supe

 

Also, i have been looking for a printout of the keyboard showing the keys with thier use.... is there one anywhere? I have the one that came with the game, but i was looking for more like the ones that come with games that is a picture of a keyboard and the keys are labeled with thier uses...

Voice control

 

Yes, there is a cool free program called Shoot, which will allow voice control:

I have used it, and you're correct -- it's great for commanding wingmen, talking to the tower, AWACs, etc.
