Negativbeispiel Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 (edited) Hey Guys. I have a problem with my DCS. Even though i have sound effects and fancy music in the launcher I dont get any sounds once I start a mission and the sim itself opens up. I use a Logitech G35 which is 7.1. Things i tried so far: - Reinstalling the required drivers (DirectX and stuff) - Checking the mixer for a possible mute of the sim - Disabling any other sound devices (HDMI-Outut and my analogous outputs) - Unchecking the "exclusive" boxes in the settings for my headset Can you help me? I will attach the dcs.log If you need any further details which may contribute to a solution just let me know. :) Edit: > My cry for help on reddit. <dcs.txt Edited January 24, 2014 by Negativbeispiel
drhyed Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 I just got my G35 and am having the same issue
Venator44 Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 I've had the same problem, and I found out that the DCS launcher and the DCS game are actually two different programs, according to the computer. So, while in the launcher you may have the audio on (look in the mixer), you might have it muted for the game. To check, launch the game, then simply alt+tab and open your sound mixer (for windows 8.1 this is found at the right bottom of the screen). I hope this helped, even though it's more than a year ago.
