I love the new Su-33 model, but I found that now I damage the aircraft on landing a lot more often than before. It looks like as the main shock absorbers are to weak.

 

I am attaching a picture of a real Su-33 and a screenshot of a Su-33 COMPLETELY empty, no fuel, no ammo no nothing... It seems to me that the sim one sits a bit lower than the one in the picture. The angle in the strut (or whatever that thingy is called) behind the main gears bends at a narrower angle than the one in the pic.

The compression of the gear vs weight would only change with AFM as far as I know. The Su-33 uses SFM so the image wouldn't tell you anything. As for the correctness of the gear strength, I don't know, I have not flown the 33 in forever.
