Yes the models are incredibly detailed, but also too "big" for sim purposes - e.g. there is also a model of the "Pyotr Velikiy"(Kirov class) and the polygon count is......1 million :icon_eek: .
Hehe... well thats actually a good question E.S :) . It is a "Slava class" vessel like the "Moscow" in Lock-on yes, but I am afraid the artist has confused the individual vessels a little - he gave it hull # "055" which belongs to a Northern Fleet vessel called "Marshal Ustinov", but then gave it the name "Slava" which is the one formerly carried by the vessel now called "Moscow".....so ...
To clarify - there are 3 Slava class vessels in service with the Russian navy;
#121 "Moskva" (formerly named #126 "Slava") in the Black Sea Fleet
#055 "Marshal Ustinov" in the Northern Fleet
#011 "Varyag"(formerly named #031 "Chervona Ukraina") in the Pacific Fleet
Yeah I know what you mean :)
Cheers,
- JJ.
Regardless, my offer stands to assist, if you decide to host at 1.11, 1.12 at Ubi.
As i said, I think it could be valuable to spread the word there about FC and BS, for those who don't know about it.
Cheers.
SuperKungFu, good to hear from you too buddy.
Yes the model is put at rest for the time being. It used to consume ALL my free time I couldn't enjoy the sim itself. Now I have the time to Fly online (HL);)
The last pic of the model Hosted is this one:

29 players on ubi - 6 players on HL......
HL is better then ubi.com that"s sure, maybe most of the player avoid HL cuz they don"t know how to run the game or they never heard for HL. to be honest it took me a little bit of time to find out how to run the game on HL so i have played on ubi.com.
then i found players which don"t speak english or they know just a few BASIC words.
Maybe ED have to put on HL with FC or BS and remove ubi.com.......
