  1. Hey all. I recently did a run of Switch Bats for the F/A-18C for OpenHornet. I have 5 sets left. They are made from 6061-T6 with a natural anodize finish. They were designed to be installed on the NKK S1AL, S2AL, and S3AL locking toggles and the bat profiles were measured from the mil switch equivalents (though slightly adapted to be compatible with the NKK switch). I am selling them for $207.74 USD plus shipping. Please PM me if you are interested in a set! Each set consists of 9 rounded bats, 12 conical bats, and 5 tall "hat" bats. If there was enough interest, I could do a run for F-16 and A-10 pit sets as well. (Just need a decent number of bats overall to make it economical to have a run done.)
  2. There is a step file with reference dimensions in the "reference" folder of the github, if you would like to check that out.
  3. So we are integrating backlighting right now, and is the core of the focus right now. That mandated quite a bit of electronics redesign, and some MCAD redesign to facilitate it. We are holding up doing any of the drawings or manufacturing files until that is integrated and things stabilize a bit. We have had *massive* strides this year on the project. We are currently targeting a June beta release for the OH project, but as always, subject to change since we all have day jobs and this is a spare time project for everyone who is contributing to the development. I should note that this thread is not the primary source of updates any more - our discord server is.
  4. Gosling, Shoot me a private message on Discord from our Discord Server. I'm Noctum on there. https://discord.gg/U4FA3VM Maybe I can talk you through some of that, with the ulterior motive of being able to start populating our FAQ and New User Guides on our new website that I have in work. 5. No, not yet. AMPCD hasnt been released. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  6. This definately seems to be one of those items that should have a software solution vs having to wire extra switches. If it was an exclusively hardware pit I'd say to send a command to raise all the guards when you load in, but that wouldn't work so well for VR. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  7. They are not available for purchase - OpenHornet is a noncommercial project for makers. We 3D print them - see our DDI drawing here: https://github.com/jrsteensen/OpenHornet/blob/master/release/2_Upper%20Instrument%20Panel/OH1A3A%20-%20ASSY%2C%20DDI.PDF The 3D printable files are in that same folder.
  8. Tower, I wouldn't yet. Still in design/subject to change as I finish outstanding items and prepare the release packages. That said, the seat is now released, so maybe that would be an excellent starting point. (Again, nobody has built it yet, so would be interested in any feedback as you build.) Sounds like a great father/son project, and I'm looking forward to starting my build with my three boys and daughter. Thanks!
  9. Sorry, but it's probably not feasible without some serious mods and using significantly different materials, and a significant increase of price for construction. I am accommodating for 90% of the human male population globally. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  10. Correct. I'm slowly working through the release package. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  11. Nope! The CNC based files will be done at the top level, and nested. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  12. Be advised all the UIP components drawings and STLs for 3d printed components are now available. I still need to do the top level UIP release package, but you should be good to start printing. Until someone finishes a full build, they should be considered beta, and as always, please report any issues you find on the github issue tracker. https://github.com/jrsteensen/OpenHornet/tree/master/release/2_Upper%20Instrument%20Panel https://github.com/jrsteensen/OpenHornet/issues
  13. Approximately 24 hours left! If you want these and havent sent me the order form, please do so soon! Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  14. OpenHornet has a 3D reference model thats pretty spot on. I think you'll appreciate it. https://github.com/jrsteensen/OpenHornet/tree/master/reference
