I noticed the same thing today.
-
OK now I have anoter saved games/DCS folder. Maybe just rename it again? EDIT: That did NOT work this time. Renamed Saved Games/DCS to Saved Games/DCSW2 No go.
-
here are logs Logs.zip

Installed A10C module, and problems are back. Mission will load but will not start. Gives me the debrief screen (for a previous flight). This is same problem I had originally.
-
^ Try this, friend. It worked for me 10 minutes ago. I renamed it DCSW (instead of DCS). Missions loaded right up.
-
OK I have NOT tried renaming my Saved Games/DCS folder Just name it anything? EDIT: THIS WORKED!!! Saved Games/DCS is now renamed to Saved Games/DCSW That was the only change I made. Had to go back in the rest my options, resolutions, frame rate, etc, but I was able to load not one but 3 separate Su-25T missions. No issues. I will never understand what in the hell is going here with that, Speed, but I am certainly grateful. Thanks. War Eagle Now moving on to install other modules. Will test and report

OK trying again -- here are the logs in this zip file. Logs.zip
-
OK thanks Speed There is no crash log. Here are the DCS and ME logs attached. AFAIK I am running DCSW as administrator. At least I have it check when I right click on the desktop icon, under properties.
-
Great. I hope that is not going to be the case. No problems before 1.2.3

Reinstalled DCS World only, tested flight. Same result. Will not load. Tries to load, but only reaches 96%. Yes I did submit a ticket yesterday. No word back yet, because I am sure they slammed right now with other requests for support.
-
It should be noted that originally I did use the auto-updater and let it run, and it worked without a hitch. Immediately I had this problem. Since uninstalling, of course, I had to use the install files from the download section of the DCS site. I had one flight in the 25T last night, and exited that one normally. That was having ONLY DCS World installed. Thinking that my problems were resolved, I installed CA and here I am again. Could it be that having Combined Arms installed BEFORE the others is giving me issues? Should not be the case, that is how the download site instructs. EDIT: OK looking at the download page instructions it appears that it uses CA as an example as a module, maybe chosen at random, to illustrate how one of (any of) the modules is supposed to be installed after DCS World is installed. So just on a whim I will try installing just DCS World again, to see what happens. Then I'll go next to DCS A-10C, which is what I originally started with, and then onto the others (cannot remember the order, but BS2 was last for me) and check those modules one at a time.
-
Installed new drivers (NVIDIA) and then realized I needed to adjust my screen resolution. I was able to load and fly one mission for the 25T. Quit game, thinking I'd found a solution, and installed CA. Now I have the same problem again. Loads about 96%

I will do another install, and remove the C++ 2010 installation and start over there. I cannot imagine the drivers aren't good, hell it just worked fine on version 1.2.2 EDIT: Checked the Install DirectX option this time.

I did a repair of the 2010 C++ installation. Should I go back and delete it and do another reinstall?

Now that is how it was in there, exactly how I pasted it. I noticed that also.
-
Which mod was this, if I might ask?
-
OK, thanks to the moderators for moving this thread. I'll just grab a ticket and go stand over here.
-
How to request official support from ED? Did this not get posted in the right place?
-
Nope not the problem, unplugged both controllers and rudder pedals (all of which worked before in previous versions). Still same problem. It is interesting to note that the debrief is the same, right down to the minute and second of the events. Although it reads the mission title, all the units, and all the relevant mission info of the missions that apparently loaded. And the debrief file date does not change. Could somebody send me a blank debrief file? I might try replacing it. I tried deleting it and the game crashes to desktop. This is really not good.
-
Certainly possible. Not sure how to fix that or even how to check.
-
It looks like something happened back on Jan 9 and the problem is just left over. Not sure that might have been the last time I got into DCS before today. Don't see anything else in the logs folder other than the autoupdate and uninstall logs. There is also an inputscript log, not sure what that is about.
