  1. The textures look great, just watch the trailer goddamn it
  2. The C Eagle never got a new HUD or EPAWSS. But most of it is correct yes.
  3. Well the radar had a few differences. APG-63(V1) is the one we're probably getting, and Desert Storm birds had APG-63. But as far as I know in practice the radar should just have a few extra modes
  4. It would make even more sense for them to add an additional 1980s post msip version with the systems that make it a 2000s version disabled.
  5. We won't get the proper display for it anyway, so why bother?
  6. Would actually be weird if they did a 70 as that was barely representative of the C's lifetime. They got replaced really quickly by the 63v1 as the Strike Eagles needed parts for their own APG-70s...
  7. I believe all the light gray liveries that only change the tails will be added hopefully.
  8. Hey! I wanted to make this thread for people to include some liveries they'd like to see added for the F-15C by ED. Here are three of my personal favorites:
  9. Maybe there's not enough info on FDL
  10. That was a rough way of explaining that yes, a new full fidelity f15 will probably have a "better radar" than the one we currently have, because the systems will be much more accurately modelled, like the F-15E having the best radar in the game. Sorry if I somehow offended you and ED, that was not my intention
  11. The radar will be simulated a lot better. Currently the F-15C radar works like this: if inside 60 mile range, show brick. This wouldn't happen in a better simulated radar, so it would probably have better detection ranges sometimes depending on RCS and stuff.
  12. I think we shouldn't get an A and a C but a 1991 and mid 2000s versions of the jet, that would be easier. Only requiring them to disable some systems and making a different pilot model to completely match the aesthetics
  13. Greetings. I have noticed some inaccuracies with the F-16's JHMCS unit of the helmet. And since you guys are probably going to revisit the USAF's pilot model for the upcoming Full Fidelity F-15C I would like to point out these to the modellers so they can maybe fix it for the F-16 and F-18 or maybe take it into account when making the F-15's pilot model if revisiting the pilot models for the 16 and 18 is too much trouble. For That I will compare the in game shell to one that is completely 3D scanned, thus making it much more accurate. 1st - the shape is off by a bit. The sides of the helmet are supposed to be a bit more rounded. The shape of the one we have in game is a bit more pointy, when that shouldn't be the case. I have highlighted the part I'm talking about in green color for you to see it in more detail and see that what I'm talking about actually applies. Also talking about the shape, you can't help but notice how big the helmet's "forehead" (The gap between the visor and the top of the helmet highlighted in red) is in game when compared to the 3D scanned version of the helmet). The visor doesn't go that far down in real life. So it would be impossible to find such a huge gap in real life examples. 2nd - The velcro on the top of the helmet shouldn't be there. The helmet represented is an HGU-55. This velcro is a modification present on the HGU-68 the US Navy uses, not the Air Force, which makes me believe this was a leftover from the Hornet's pilot model mesh. I think this has already been reported, but just making sure to include it here in case it hasn't. Moreover, there's another much less important issue with the helmet that I think it's worth mentioning here. The blue felt visor protector cut is a bit too big. This is a mod made by the squadrons themselves to prevent the visor from getting scratched on the top of the helmet. Now, they don't normally look like in game, where you have it going all the way to the top of the helmet. In real life it normally ends where right near where the top of the helmet would start, as you can see here: Now, I'm well aware that this is mostly nitpicking, but I figured that since the sim is so well done when it comes to detail, and ED takes pride in that, I could help achieve an even further level of fidelity when it comes to the pilot models, since they are very well done as well (and still work in progress according to ED). That's mostly it, thank you.
  14. Plus notice they didn't mention the version of the 63 in the FAQ, that must mean at least they are looking into the possibility of an AESA.
  15. I'm absolutely sure it will be the V(1) though, I'm really more intrested in the V(3) though. The fact that we are getting the 35 makes it possible.
