    Oh, cool. Thank you. We have (in Adelaide, SA) a public holiday today, God bless the Queen :) I was always wandering, if one does not read Woman's Day or New Idea, or similar high calibre magazine, what would having a Queen be good for. And - here we go - every year I am reminded that having a Queen (not the one with Freddy Mercury, but the real English one) is awesome 'cos i get to play DCS all day Monday :) :) :)

     

    What an opportunity to fly this bird.

     

    I got a step further now, it is approx 700 odd mb, and Google drive is now sipping the content in prep for download. Fingers and toes crossed.

    Hello Cubanace,

     

    Very neat. One quick question, is there any way to have the HUD in Cyrillic? My Windows 10 system is in English, so are all versions of DCS. My master DCS setting is correct - avionics language is not set to English. However, the Su-57 HUD is still in English (Latin alphabet).

    Quick Question re: DCS Mods HUD Localization

    Hello,

     

    It would be greatly appreciated if someone could help out with this challenge:

     

    My Windows 10 system is in English, so are all versions of DCS. I have a few nice mods I fly (for example SU-35, MiG-23UB), in which I would like to have HUD in Cyrillic. I managed to get Betty sound in Russian and my master DCS setting is correct - avionics language is not set to English. How are HUDs for mods managed in DCS?

     

    Я говорю по-русски. Я учу русский с четвертого класса. Я свободно читаю и пишу на кириллице. А я словак, славянин. :)

    Something else a community project does that is hard to quantify is keep interest in the product form people who float back and forth. I've come back and forth from DCS 3 times since the original lock on. I've owned almost every FS product that has ever existed since MSFS 1.0

     

    A community project keeps people engaged in something even when they're tired of flying, which keeps them near the community and aware of the products you are selling.

     

    I spend more time tinkering with DCS than i do flying most days as I find this enjoyable.

     

    Wow, cool to see, I thought I was the odd one here, doing more tinkering than flying... :)

    We are not seeking 3rd party dev status. Just wanted to say that again. There are alot of reasons why but mostly because it's not what our future goals include. The team has been updating the module to work with the new supercarrier, which it does, and adding more functionality to systems. After we wrap up the initial milestone of delivering the DCS version we will be shifting our focus to deliver versions to XPlane and MSFS2020. Very soon we'll be showing our first pass pit for the C model. We have both the front and rear pit in and it's been in testing for a few weeks with all the major systems functional and usable. Just have a few more misc items to throw first pass materials on and we'll get them out to the masses to view.

    Here I'm speaking english for the whole community:

    I'm a little bit surprised that a mod with a such quality doesn't generate more excitment.

    Anti french racism perhaps or just impoliteness to not knowing how to say "thanks" to the author after downloading and using?

     

    "French" is not a race, it is a nation. Races are Black, White, etc. Maybe Franco-phobia?

     

    But the popularity of Mirage and mods like Rafale shows no such thing :)

     

    Mod looks awesome, time to check it out. A big "Thank you for sharing" to the creator of the mod.
