I`ve been working my way through the A-10C II and man its like being back at school and to be honest if I had studied as hard at school as I have done on this beast I might have done better! Anyway check out this guys videos for the Hawg https://www.youtube.com/user/ravagetalon/videos They have been a great help to me to the point that in 3 weeks I am happily dropping GBU`s,CBU`s,Firing Mavericks and Rockets with a fairly decent consistency of not screwing them up,there are still lots of mistakes on my part but generally getting the weapons away even if not always as advertised. Simplifies a lot of the systems without completely dumbing things down. Now I just have to get brave and move on from bombing things on the ranges and get into some "contact" lol Happy hunting

I`m fairly confident with the Hornet and Viper now,the Harrier a little less although I can AAR with it I still struggle a bit with the probe being off to my left hand side,but once its plugged in I find it easiest to maintain.Biggest game changer for me doing AAR was getting my VR headset,the entire process became so much easier with that.

Have never seen the MPRS deploy the BOOM for F-16,always have to set up a normal KC-135,as it stands we have 1 tanker for BOOM ops and 1 for BASKET/DROGUE...my suggestion was the KC-135R which can provide BOOM ops without the BASKET and BASKET/DROGUE via the wing pods,although not at the same time,so if BOOM in operation DROGUE Ops would have to wait for that to complete.

A KC-135R would be an even better addition instead of needing to hunt out an MPRS or KC-130 if looking for a basket refuel. KC-135R with its capability to offer BOOM air to air and 2 Drogue Baskets on the same mission would be great,not being anything like a programmer or even having a clue how you could make it work but I would guess it would be some kind of trigger when on first contact with the Tanker you advise what kind of hook up you require and then proceed to pre contact? 1/Boom 2/Drogue Just and idea.

Thanks for the replies guys,just wanted to make sure as thought that would be something that would have been an easy update for the F-16 (not that im an expert) and just makes the jet more aesthetically pleasing when thundering around.

Silly question and done a search on the forum but couldn`t find anything,would I be correct in saying that the overwing vapor (whiskers) on the F-16 are only working on the Open Beta version and not the stable version? I ask because I only recently downloaded the Open Beta again and having been flying around in the F-16 for a little while was frustrated at the lack of Vapor when suddenly on Open Beta it was Vaping away like mad? Just want to make sure or do I need to reinstall F-16 on the Stable version? Cheers guys Ross
