  1. now the thread gets moved....thanks for the "help". what a waste of money
  2. I guessing just my version of DCS is pooched then...
  3. Here is me on the ground at Tonopah. If I press T/R, then the RCV option will blank out. T/R no longer works at all. This worked prior to the automatic update that downloaded last night.
  4. After this latest update, my TACAN doesn't work at all. The icon doesn't show up on the HSI, there is only bearing info, but no distance, can't use CSEL anymore, and T/R no longer works. I had to land visually and manually. Is there a new procedure and is TACAN now borked? Thanks.
  5. You can't. IT'S ****ING IMPOSSIBLE!
  6. Practice does not make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect. Practice does no good if one does the same thing over and over again hoping for a different result. Just a thought.
  7. how do you adjust the trim beyond using the T/O trim push button?
  8. I've upgraded from the F-15C to the F/A-18C and obviously it's a huge learning curve. I've watched numerous YouTube tutorials before coming here to ask. To what setting do you bind your HOTAS to be able to move the cursor and lock a target in A/A or A/G radar? I've tried both "throttle designator control" and "sensor control switch" - neither seems to control it. I've been able to fire an uncaged Maverick, but haven't been able to make the adjustment corrections (is it called "slewing"?) before the Maverick hits the target. Thanks.
  9. It turns out I still had DCS setup on "game flight mode" when I started with the F-15C. I disabled that and no more problems. Thanks for pitching in so quickly.
  10. I am lined up at Groom Lake, everything started up. I go full burners and can not get above 120kts before hitting the end of the runway. Even if I do get airborne, I have to stay on afterburners to stay in the air and never go above 200 kts and below 9 degrees AOA.
