  1. A guy asked me to do something a little different, and I just showed him a WIP for a Tiger F-15C, so here's the start for him:
  2. You editing the Alpha Channel layer right? Or are you just editing the texture portion?
  3. Thanks!
  4. Good point, but the "easiest" way to get the color is to just use the eyedropper tool on the screenshot. Then you can put the colors down and see how it looks. The problem is that the screenie looks like it was taken around the 1800 - 2000 game timeframe so you may have to make it brighter a bit.
  5. True but you gotta realize that if you're doing a skin "for yourself" or hypothetical, the sky is the limit :)
  6. In which I've been applying it to a couple projects, one being this: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=19658 So I'm a little tied up right now... but it takes time man, you can't just get a skin like that in one day, take the time and tweak it and you'll get it  Of course, you can probably ask him if you can get that skin, minus the squad markings too ;)
  7. All, unless you use a hex editor for specifically each type. nomeraminus9.zip
  8. The way I understand the numbering system with LOMAC, is that there are two "slots" for the same file. So going along with your "9" example, all there would be is like... 1-8, 10, 11-18, 20, 21-28, etc. Or, you'll never see 9 again per your idea. If that doesn't bother you... well yeah it can be done. However, I accidentally deleted my "virgin" nomera.tga file last night, so if anybody has one....? And thanks again :D

  10. I got a modded nomera.tga file... but I may have to rename it as -8 since that's the texture number. If you can that's cool, if not, then I'll redo it with the correct number. As for Lockonfiles? No, since it's a custom skin, I tend not to do that sort of thing with them.

  12. Thanks all! @SuperKungFu:
  13. So is that it?
  14. lol something easy for once :), and thanks :) sp0nge, I basically took a sample color with the eyedropper (this is Photoshop now) and applied it on the template. I then set the layer on "Overlay" and that's how I got the effect on the inside of the airbrake itself. It allows (depending on the bottom layer) it to get that effect without having to redo that part. The inside portion in the fuselage I had to redo, i.e. pretty much make it a custom part of the skin.
  15. Thanks, but looks like Sundevil is on vacation till the 15th, and trying to get some kinda idea on progress. Unfortunately my move has sorta put a wrench in the updates..
  16. Thanks!
  17. Can't do it TekaTeka, the mapping won't allow it. As for what PythonOne?
  18. Shit, one thing at a time! And how did I do what sp0nge?
  19. I have to touch it up a bit, but this should work..
  20. Ahh okay, yeah I changed it to a straight line as per the model picture, but sure thing
  21. Okay SKF, you completely lost me..... And no, the airbrake is white, but easily fixed ;) And thanks F l a n k e r!
  22. The weathering so far is default with the template. As such, it's probably IMHO suited for a more acrobatic, than a "line" bird, but if you want more, no problemo.
  23. lol even though I could have gotten it from the CVW-8 site anyways, but yeah, thanks
