  1. No problem . I have the author of that mod going to work with me over the weekend to get my skins made for that mod you posted to work in game, I'll post it for download when I'm ready. I have like 10 skins already done for it too.

  2. Hey Guys

    This is for Razor, Crazy Eddie, Hawkeye, Skate, and any other guru out there that can answer me this question please.

    I wanna do a nice skin pack for this modded plane from here:

    https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1895607/?sphrase_id=6329772

    I have some skins already done in DX5 format but not sure of the folder structure's skins name or the EDM livery structure. In other words what would the folder's name be for the liveries to go into, example F-16A?

    Then also what is the data needed for the description file inside the skins folder.

    I have ten skins already done and I would like to place them up for download for 1.5+ and 2.0+ versions. I just need a little assistance with those 2 things. If I can get that help I can have these skins ready in a few days for download.

    Thanks in advance for any help!

  3. Can someone out there make a JSGME version of this mod. Id like to try it but I keep getting all yellow or orange colored rooftops on my buildings so I know I'm doing something wrong.

    I change the lau file for the distance, but having a JSGME version would be so much easier.

  4. Here is a pic of the design so for Im currently printing it out and then have to size up the holes for the buttons and make sure everything fits good. Still have a way to go but were working on it for now.

  5. For one if you are making a custom skin then you need to first use the EDM app called:

    EDM Livery Extractor GUI....

    Then find the .edm file for the IL and extract all the file names it uses to show a skin on your desktop in a description file. Like so Example...below

    I did the work for ya in below example!

    -- rename it to description.lua

    livery =

    {

    --[[ uncomment lines for customized dds/tga/bmp files --]]

    --{"76MD-CONE-01", 0, "upaz-cone-01", true};

    --{"78M-GLS-01", 0, "il76md-glass-01", true};

    --{"78M-GLS-02", 0, "il76md-glass-01", true};

    --{"78M-GLS-02", 5, "il76_damage_main", true};

    --{"78M-SKIN01-02", 0, "il78-skin01-02", true};

    --{"78M-SKIN01-02", 2, "il78-skin01-02s", true};

    --{"78M-SKIN01-03", 0, "il76md-skin01-03", true};

    --{"78M-SKIN01-03", 2, "il76md-skin01-03s", true};

    --{"78M-SKIN01-04", 0, "il76md-skin01-04", true};

    --{"78M-SKIN01-05", 0, "il76md-skin01-05", true};

    --{"78M-TAXILGT-01", 0, "il76md-lndlgt-01", true};

    --{"IL78-MAP-01", 0, "il78-skin01-01", true};

    --{"IL78-MAP-01", 2, "il78-skin01-01s", true};

    --{"IL78-MAP-01", 5, "il76_damage_main", true};

    --{"IL78-MAP-02", 0, "il78-skin01-02", true};

    --{"IL78-MAP-02", 2, "il78-skin01-02s", true};

    --{"IL78-MAP-02", 5, "il76_damage_main", true};

    --{"IL78-MAP-03", 0, "il76md-skin01-03", true};

    --{"IL78-MAP-03", 2, "il76md-skin01-03s", true};

    --{"IL78-MAP-03", 5, "il76_damage_main", true};

    --{"il76_BANO_bill", 0, "il76md-bano-01", true};

    --{"pilot_ IL76", 0, "crew_il76", true};

    }

    ----== below part is not required for cockpit livery ==----

    --[[ name your own skin in default language (en)

    meanwhile, you can also name the skin in more than one languages,

    replace xx by [ru, cn, cs, de, es, fr, or it] ]]

    name = ""

    --name_xx = ""

    --[[ assign the countries

    if you want no country limitation,

    then comment out below line]]

    countries = {""}

    you dont need all of these files just the ones that pertain to the skin in question, that your doing. Name them false instead of true, cause they will be in the skins folder that your doing, the rest are in game already.

    Then once you have all the files ready to go, then place them in a folder and name it whatever squadron you are doing at the time. Place the folder where it belongs which is most likely here if its an AI aircraft.

    C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bazar\Liveries

    Then as long as all of your files are named correctly you'll see the skin in your mission editor. Hope this helps a bit!

  6. I am simply trying to take the internals of the warthog and place them in the F-15 printed grip. If you guys are able, I was asked from the designer to have pics of the warthog grip and the f-15 grip so he can make the transition easier on him. So I'm asking anyone who's interested in this to please post a couple of pics so I can send these to him. I have found a couple but the more the merrier I always say. So see what you can find and post here. thanks guys!
