  1. Just flew it again, clicked end mission and it advanced to mission 3. I must have screwed up and hit close instead of end mission. Thanks.
  2. Just completed mission 2 and had a 100 result, but the campaign did not advance to mission 3. Running open beta latest build.
  3. Thanks, that's helpful to know.
  4. Wanted to follow up as I think I figured this out. I came across the same issue on another mission, couldn't connect to the right side basket on a KC-135, so I moved over to the left basket and hooked up without any issues. Seems like when you are cleared contact, it is for a specific basket. Is there an indication of which basket to use that I am missing?
  5. I was cleared contact on both attempts. I thought it was odd, so I went and did the Caucus instant action refueling mission, and was able to hook up and fill up with no problems.
  6. Can anyone else confirm that the AAR seems broken on the Persian Gulf Devildog mission? The probe just seems to move right through the basket. Tried twice, once after a reboot. Running the 2.5.6 stable release.
  7. Newegg has GTX 580's available for purchase for just over $500 with their 10% discount code. I just ordered one to replace my GTX 480.
  8. My X52 has a dual stage trigger.
  9. Natural Point is working on 64 bit support for DCS A-10C but until it is available, TrackIR only functions with the 32 bit version of the simulator.
  10. I agree with all the other responses so far, TrackIR is mandatory for flight simulation in my experience. I will not fly without it, as well as rudder pedals and a good HOTAS setup.
  11. Okay, every setting maxed out including HDR, TSAA, 16xQ, and mirrors, and I am seeing fps in the 30-40+ range with a few dips to 25 fps when low and making fast turns above dense scenery. This is with the 32 bit version of the beta. Looking forward to the performance of the 64 bit final release when it is available.
  12. I was able to max out DCS Black Shark with 40 fps, so the chances are good.
  13. I ordered DCS A-10C and will have a chance to test it on Monday or Tuesday. I hope to be able to max out the graphics with my system specs, and I will report how things work out for me. My system specs are in my signature.
  14. I meant that when Chrome downloads a file, it is saved in Chrome's "downloads" folder. After it downloaded, I moved it to an individual directory folder I created called "Modman" on a dedicated hard drive for Black Shark; it's location is D:\ModMan . When I then tried to install, I got the error. I am going to give the mirror site a shot right now. UPDATE: Mirror site worked the first time. Thank you, it is very much appreciated.
  15. First, thank you for the reply. I used Google's Chrome internet browser and just clicked the download link in the post, and hit save. Once it downloaded, I moved the file from the downloads folder to it's own folder on the harddrive I have for DCS Black Shark. When I try to run the install is when I get the issue.
  16. I am using the nvidia control panel to set 16x AF, 8x MSAA, prerender limit set to 1, VSYNC forced on, and override application settings. Using the tweaks from the guide, except I kept heat blur on, I am getting 60 fps locked regardless of where or what is on the screen. My system specs are in my signature, and this rig was built to tame FSX, so I figured it would handle Black Shark well.
  17. I get a message that the download was possibly corrupted or incomplete when I try to install. I am using Windows 7 64, UAC is disabled, and I try to install as administrator.
