  1. I feel its exactly this. Its glaring when you switching from a different sim to this one. There is something really wrong with the sense of altitude, depth and earth curvature. On that picture earlier, the mountains seen from 40k feet in the DCS picture look to be at the exact same altitude as the cloud cover at 20k in the other picture. And it seems the earth doesn't curve (or does so very gently) in DCS which further takes away from the feeling of depth and altitude.
  2. Actually i don't think the AI is setting bingo at all, ergo them ejecting immediately after calling it. To set Bingo you, the player, have to do it manually by selecting the option in the IEFI and setting the value that you want. Default is 0, and i'm pretty sure that is what the AI has it at. I spent a few hundred dollars within a week of finding this game out about a month ago (and a few thousands on peripherals). Every day that passes i regret it more, and i'm not spending another dime until i actually see some commitment from ED towards supporting their products instead of nickle and dimming their community to death and flooding its store with barely functional modules and maps.
  3. Loving the campaign. Had an issue this weekend with mission 3. Absolutely awesome mission btw. Racing back home flying close to ground through the crevices and gaps between hills while keeping an eye on my 6 and hoping the guys on CAP got them reds before they got me, made for an awesome exciting and memorable experience. Unfortunately just as i was approaching the Carrier for landing the game hard crashed (first hard crash i've had in DCS) so bad that even on restart the game wasn't running properly (would only render sky). Had to switch planes around to reset the game's initialization and be able to play it again. Asides from the fact that now (as this things go) i can't seem to beat the mission again, there is also the fear that i'll go through all that again just for it to crash at the end... Can someone confirm they can finish mission 3 without it crashing?
  4. Anyone else having issues with the radar? In SP and MP, radar will lose locks/contacts for no reason. Not changing azimuth or anything. Example, was tracking 3 bogies in TWS in SP (Cage the Bear mission 3 i think it was - gotta bomb a train station and, as you approach bombing target at waypoint 3, 3 migs intercept you), just as i'm getting within range to fire radar goes blank (all contacts vanish from the radar), AIM120s switch to visual, a few seconds later contacts pop up but not being targeted in TWS. Switching to RWS still can't target them, and then i'm dead cause we merged and they got Fox2s on me. Those glitches and blank contact screen keeps happening, both in TWS and RWS, mp and Sp. Also, the Zoom buttons on the DDI when in Flir don't work at all. thanks.
