ka-50 mod Thanks for your reply Blackwolf however....i have done this. when I jump back into ka50....its still Russian. I cannot figure what I'm doing wrong..... its a simple case of replacing the mod file in dcsworld. do you have it running in version 1.5? thanks.

Ka-50 English mod Hi....I have tried to install the Ka-50 English mod. I have carried out the simple instruction of replacing the original ''mods'' file with the updated one. ''Just move the "Mods" folder into "DCS World" directory and overwrite.'' But for the life of me, I cannot get it to work. The instruments are still in Russian. Could the problem be, Dcs world 1.5? as the mod says... ''This mod is compatible only with DCS World v1.2.7'' Has anyone else got an English mod that works with 1.5? Thanks.

incidentally this is when im trying to run bs2 in dcs world....when I run from bs2 on its own, serial works perfectly. Do i need another serial?

bs2 serial unfortunately gents I have tried both possible fixes mentioned above. it does say it has updated the registry, but still nothing. asks for serial then says wrong serial. honestly, I have spent approx £50 on both bs1 and 2 to end up with this. ridiculous. chucky35uk :mad:

I am having the same problem. I can run bs2 on its own.....but when I run it from within dcs world it asks for a serial. I have tried both both codes (bs1 + upgrade) It gives me a link to star force website. When I try to deactivate then activate, it tells me my hardware id does not match. (Maybe coz ive reinstalled win 7 64) This is so frustrating. Any ideas? Chucky35uk.

track ir chichlidfan.....I would like to show you the route I am taking to get to the files you suggested deleting...I am using windows 7 64. c drive program files eagle dynamics dcs world config input aircrafts I have deleted (backed up) the full contents of the aircraft folder. It contains four lua files...base keyboard..modifiers..aircraft and base joystick. having done this....I still have no joy. Am I doing this right? thanks for you patience. :helpsmilie:

Track ir Well it's a disaster.....firstly I deleted directories that was suggested to no avail. I have run track ir and cyborg joystick with fsx.....these work perfectly. I have just deleted dcs world and a10c then re installed....still to no avail. What is happening here? It's obviously a hardware/dcs issue. One minute it was fine the next.....knackered. Please respond. :cry:

Track ir My worst fear was having to fully reinstall dcs...phew.

Thanks for quick reply cichlidfan. I have opened the dirs that you suggested. Do I delete the three dirs (headtrack joystick and trackir)? Do I recreate them or will the programs sort that Both programs seem to work perfectly out of dcs. Is this a known issue? Thanks again.

Hi....I have a disaster regarding my track ir and cyborg joystick. Basically it was all working perfectly the other night then last night nothing...track ir and joystick not working. The lights on the track ir receiver are coming on as usual but when I get into the a10c...nothings working. I also notice in the settings page for the joystick....the lines are coloured red as though its not being recognised. This is strange as I have altered nothing. Any ideas? Thanks. :helpsmilie:

Wonderful.....it was the egi switch....setting the cud to nav... Then egi... has turned light out. One small step for man....... Although I have loads more to learn... Thanks again...

On learning how to properly start this delightful aircraft....I can get all lights off on the caution light panel except the enhanced attitude control bulb. I have turned the eac switch to on during startup.....but won't go out. Anyone any ideas as to what's wrong? Thanks. :helpsmilie:

Hi while watching a lot of YouTube videos for a10 tuition...I feel I'm not getting the full benefit of my track ir 5. When for example I'm preparing for start up...I'm not getting the range of views I would like. In fsx there is an adding called ezdock...this enables u to switch to any part of the cockpit in full hd to program the cdu or whatever. My question is ... How can I look at a panel on its own? Can it be undocked and moved over to another screen. Or is my track ir just not calibrated properly. Hope this makes sense..... :o)) Chucky35uk.

Your right kite but.....I have found in the past that lots of squadrons don't recruit anyone unless they are very proficient. Tho I will look again in that area. Chucky35uk

Hi all.....I, like dozens of other BS newbies am having difficulty controlling this bird. It is one awesome beast and worth while persisting with. But boy....its tricky. I'm used to fixed wing. Wouldn't it be great if someone with experience could hold an online tutorial. I know the pitfalls of this ie time zones and communication software setup. I'm in the uk and would love to link up.
