I am not trolling, but I play Su-27 since Flanker 1.0... and feel that from about year ago Su-27 starts to perform worse, and worse comparing to F-15C or Mirage. We, I mena =OPS= plays one mision "Polonez" since many years exacly at the same area. I know, it sounds boring :-) but we can notice evry change to FM, DM etc. To be honest F-15C is slighty worse than used to be few years ago, but Su-27 is much worse... Now if you engaged at close dog with Mirage or F-15 you have to have luck to make advantage. But if you engaged at gunzo you have no chance to disengage. Downgarding Su-27 is kind of long proces and It is my strong belief. Best, qrdl

I mean dogfight. If your speed is lower then your foe, he is able to disengage, you are not. So if you at df at visual range with Mirage or F-15C you play on them rules. Tell me witch modern russian aircraft at DCS could engage and disengage at will? Best, =OPS= boski_qrdl_logos (SL)

Ok. Now I understand that Su-27 is worst modern aircraft @DCS World. True? It is slowest and very heavy. Is @DCS any other modern aircraft that performes worst then Su-27?

Waiting for first discount on DCS: Mi-8MTV2
qrdl replied to captainteemo's topic in DCS: Mi-8MTV2 Magnificent Eight
Hi, Perhaps I will buy Mi-8 once again and I will play on this latest buy, rather than on bought 2 weeks ago: -). It partly will solve a problem, because I will take the benefit from the sale :-). Also sprach Zarathustra -
I attached my network.cfg file. I can see two values where my LAN IP address are: upnp_control_url = "http://192.168.0.1:5000/Public_UPNP_C3" interface = "192.168.0.2" I guess that first is my gateway (router) address, and second (192.168.0.2) is my DCSW server. Best, qrdl network.cfg

After updated my DCSW to 1.2.6 I`ve lost possibility to create on-line server, but as client I could connect to any on-line server. Trying to resolve the problem, I`ve tried a lot of tricks. I`ve reinstalled and finally uninstalled all AV&FW soft. Then reinstalled DCSW & modules - nothing. As it turned out a network.cfg was "guilty" due to being not updated by game. When my LAN IP address changed, eg. from 192.168.0.2 to 192.168.0.5, @ network.cfg there were still old (..02) value. Manually edited network.cfg solved my problem, but in my opinion it is some kind of bug.. Best, qrdl

Hi, As the DCSW server: crashing - pull over from the runway - during the take-off (Mig-29S) is freezing the game (screen) on the server. In consequence an anti-aircraft defence of airports is ceasing acting (and other vehicles), players cannot change planes. DCSW v. 1.2.2.7286. System: Win8, i7, Geforce GTX 670. Best, qrdl

1.11 sometimes freezes for ~1 sec, not often and I didnt connect freezeing with the bug. Ive only noticed drop in FPS when I was looking at b. towns. Are you interested in any particular file? I can send it to You. BEFORE patch 1.11 I modified 2 files (& added su25t night skin).. NOW, after patched to 1.11 they look like: ../Config/producer.cfg ForceFeedbackEnabled = false; ../Config/network/config.lua -- This file was automagically generated. Edit with care. :) gameTimeout = 30; pingPeriod = 1; maxPacketSize = 500; playerName = "logos"; idleTimeout = 120; stats { enable = true; file = "Temp/mp_log.txt"; }; chat { height = 95; delay = 10000; }; serverFiles = { [1] = "./Bazar/Names.lua"; [2] = "./Bazar/Racks.lua"; [3] = "./Bazar/Types.lua"; [4] = "./Config/Weapons/Guns.lua"; [5] = "./Config/Weapons/DrawInfo.lua"; [6] = "./Config/Weapons/Bombs.lua"; [7] = "./Config/Planes/Pylons.lua"; [8] = "./Config/Planes/Damage.lua"; [9] = "./Config/Planes/AIControl.lua"; [10] = "./Config/Export/Export.lua"; [11] = "./Config/View/Server.lua"; [12] = "./Config/View/Labels.lua"; [13] = "./Config/World/World.lua"; [14] = "./Config/Network/stats.lua"; }; configList = { ["xDSL 128/128 Kbit/s"] = { downstream = 16000; upstream = 16000; }; ["Modem 56.6K"] = { downstream = 5000; upstream = 3000; }; ["xDSL 1024/128 Kbit/s"] = { downstream = 128000; upstream = 16000; }; ["Modem 33.6K"] = { downstream = 3000; upstream = 1000; }; ["LAN 10 Mbit/s"] = { downstream = 500000; upstream = 500000; }; ["LAN 100 Mbit/s"] = { downstream = 5000000; upstream = 5000000; }; ["xDSL 256/128 Kbit/s"] = { downstream = 32000; upstream = 16000; }; }; client { port = 10308; type = "Modem 33.6K"; server = ""; serverList = { [1] = ""; }; }; server { port = 10308; name = "logos, test "; maxPlayers = 12; type = "xDSL 256/128 Kbit/s"; interface = "All interfaces"; };

Ok I start to record tracks. Last time not all map objects was burning, only 3 or 4 towns and not all buildings/instalations in those towns... I hope it could be seen on previously attached screen shots.. best wishes, qrdl

I was playing with friend 1 vs 1, I was host. I asked him to veryfi my observations - he didn`t see anything strange. So, it seems that the bug only appeared on host (my) machine. best wishes, qrdl ps. today I am going to host mp game with same mission. If cities start to burn, I make more close shots... but as I wrote befeore, I played 1.11 online 2 times, as a host, and bug appearde only second time.

1.11 mission editor: no text for 'hide button' in planes dialog
qrdl replied to Vati's topic in Bugs and Problems
I`ve seen this since 1.1. I think its old one, not introduced in 1.11. best wishes, qrdl -
That all shots.... Ive no track. Mission was created in 1.02 re-editet in 1.1 and fine tuned in 1.11 :-) I was hosting this mission, there was 1 client, so we`ve got 1:1 df (29-15). I played this mission twice for 2 and 3h. First time bug didn`t appear. My FC installation (down ver) is clean.. only official su25t night skin mod added on 1.1. No other mods and tweaks. Gainward 6800Ultra 256MB, ForceWare 81.26; 1MB (2x512) dual RAM, P4 3.2@~3.5 (FSB 223); mobo Asus P5P800. (Prime95 running more than 5h with no errors&warnings :-)) best wishes, qrdl logos9LOTSAM_MOD01_NOFOG.zip

Thank you ED dev team for answering my (ours) questions... It is good to know how helpfull You are. I remeber times of Flankers 2.x forum (SSI), it`s very pity that good old standards are history right now :( best wishes, qrdl

It is ~42.7kbits/player upload. Why for there is, in LOFC, option to connect 33.6k?? I mean ["Modem 33.6K"] = { downstream = 3000; upstream = 1000; Due to default game options you should be able to play, as a client, with down ~30kbits, serwer up is 256/30 so 7-8 players sholud play without problems, more than 6. Am I right...? On other side client connecting with modem <33.6 have no chances to get to game or after connetion will be kicked with others players?? Is it LOFC server so unstable? But once again the problem is: why the game KICKS? HAHAHA good joke. In times of good old IL2Sturmovik I was able to host ~6 players (no lags, ping 40-150) on my 100/100kbits HIS.... If there were more than 6 players host game used to be slide show, but no kicks... yours, qrdl

Ok, I`ve read about fixing mp in 1.11, but is ED going to fix real issues or do cosmetic make-up? ED Developers Team, I - as a big Flanker fan since 1998 - very please answer us: is it normal that game KICKS clients (>6) due to low (1024/256 down/up adsl) bandwich? Pings are good, no lags, no ANY sights of warning and suddenly 2,3 or more clients are kicked at once. Yours, qrdl [host machine: P4 3.2GHz HT, 1GB (2x512 dual), Gainward GT6800 Ultra GS 256mb, mobo Asus P5P800, modem SAGEM Fast800 drivers 3.0.4]

Thank you for your reply :-) It seems a little bit weird... 1/1Mbit up/down for hosting 8 players at LOFC? Ok, but why host kicks clients? I understand: lags, poor ping, etc. - some kind of "normal" behaviour of overloaded connection, but kiks totaly kills gameplay :(, host kicks equally clients with good pings same as with bad pings.. Changed many times, now there is 600... I am afraid this is not TPSA related problem. If it is, its very big problem coverd whole contry. We used to play direct and via HL. Do you think that LOFC is very one game that kick clients due to slow connection or Internet provider TPSA?? If yes, I still think that something is wrong with FC multip... Mayby someone knows utility that shows connection related problems affecting FCs muliplayer? Ok, I wrote about 1.02 because this problem we have since 1.02! Now we are playing 1.1 and I bought 2 versions of addon - web and cd.. so rethink your oppinion about polish players :-) Imagine that ~$20 here in Poland is a lot of money for some players and they have to play 1.02 and saving money for 1.1... Thank you. We are inviting you to join our parties :-) Opisy zawsze są w moim gg 2250882 best wishes/pozdrawiam, qrdl

Hi, I am writing in the name of polish LO/FC players gathered at imo bigest polish LO/FC forum http://212.160.164.236/~apacz/phpBB2/index.php (Forum miłośników symulatorów...). Here is the problem. When there is about 7-8 players online, after few minutes, serwer starts to kick players randomly (I mean it looks randomly for us). Sometimes all clients being kicked, sometimes 2-3 of them - host stays, mission is playable, clients have to rejoin mission, of koz we tried very different missions. Pings are rather good between 60-200 and there is no any kind of "ping warning", lags before kick, etc.. We tried different host computers, different configs, at dfferent locations (cities). All - 3 - test machines are connected adsl 1Mbit down/256Kbit up (2xmodem sagem800, 1xrouter asmax701). There is nothing in sys logs, no warning, no errors, connections seem to work ok. It is very annoying problem... please help us, we are very, very frustated... Yours, qrdl

Okay Guys, I'm back... will be solving your problems.
qrdl replied to Eagle Dynamics's topic in Payment and Activation
So you never spent your money :) I lost hope to buy FC (own legal copy...) ... I`ve got credit card, $$ and no possibilty to buy/download - as many of us, not only from paypalless countries. ~3 weeks of everyday hope... Even I don`t know if I still want to play FC after all... Seems to me that we are "second class" players. best wishes, qrdl -
Hi, I`ve read topics about problems with paypal. Mayby not only customers from not supporterd countries are waiting for other payment option?? IMO Paypal (+FC) doesn`t work perfectly, mayby some people from "paypal countries" don`t want to use pp and wait for "visa option" to buy FC? yours, qrdl

Multiplayer server killer bug, warning pic included
qrdl replied to 169th_Moose's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Unfortunetly.. First time I saw this bug was more than year ago on R9700. Now I`ve got Nvidia card (as I wrote 68000U 256MB). My hardware configuration changed a lot during last year (mobo, mem, processor, sp1, sp2, system from scratch..) , but bug is still present in online playing :( imho it is not hardware&drivers related bug. best wishes, qrdl
