  1. I've seen somewhere on a forum I think this one a (pdf) for FC2 that list all the Brevity/Acronyms used in Lock-on FC2 (game) but can't remember where I saw this at. Anyone out there have any Idea where this information my be located? Thanks TC

  2. I need a little help, I'm new at this and trying to make a simple Nav Mission using the A-10. All I want to do is take off from a Airbase, Nav a few way point (4-5) and fly on to another airbase and land. I would like for this mission to be flown at dusk but not to dark to begin with. Is there any beginners guide to setting up a mission from scratch because I can't figure out how to do it in the Editor for FC2. Thanks TC

  3. Maybe you have wind in the mission! The ladder will be offset to the left or right because of it.
Having never flown Modern Jets I think you are right because as long as I'm on the ground everything is as it should be but once wheels up the alignment thing come into play. Thanks for that information. TC
  4. update the saitek profile software and driver to the latest version as they allow you to bind the right shift key, earlier versions had problems.
I updated the rudder drivers but not the X52, I'll update the drivers and software for the stick and see if that helps the problem with the Rshift key. Any ideas about the misalignment on the Hud display? Thanks TC
  5. Guys I have been trying to get the A-10 Hud in FC2 to align center by that I mean that the pitch ladder is offset to the left and if I'm using Track IR I can't get it to align center without inputting a lot of rudder. If I'm not using Track IR I can align the pitch ladder using cockpit camera move, left or right but as soon as I go back to Tracker the misalignment reoccurs. I have resolution set to 1680 x1050 with aspect set to 4.3. no matter how I set up the display/video it's the same and the text is running off the right edge of the Hud display. Any Idea's? I do have the 6dof mod installed and the F-15/A-10 cockpit v.2 install using modman 7.3 but I also disabled all mods and still have the alignment problem. I have a feeling it's going to be something really simple to correct but that's beyond my knowledge at this time. Just installed this this weekend and haven't tested any of the other A/C yet so I don't know if it's just a A-10 thing or more A/C are effected. Thanks TC

Edited: Also anyone knows how to get the Rshift key on a MS 6000 v.2 keyboard. It seems that I cannot input that key stroke in Saitek Profiler for the X-52pro. Thanks Again

  6. You can check what version you have by running the game (single-player), going to the mission editor from the main menu, and then opening the "Help" menu along the top of the screen within the mission editor. One of the options there should be "About" or "About Flaming Cliffs 2" or something similar, I can't remember the exact wording. When you select that, you'll get some information including the version number.

If it says 1.2.1 then it already has the patch. If it's an earlier version, then you'll want to download and install the patch.

I was under the impression that the boxed release was delayed in order to incorporate the 1.2.1 patch, but maybe not. So it would be great if you could confirm one way or the other.

I haven't installed yet, waiting for the weekend but will report back with the version once installed. Thanks for the fast reply TC
  7. I also have the LOP and if I understand you correctly once I install FC2 I then need to download and install the 1.2.1 LOPFC patch correct? TC
I through that LOP came with all the patches to FC2 but as I read this board it appears that even if you just purchase the new LOP disk that was just released you still need to download the FC2 1.2.1 patch is this correct? Thanks TC
  8. You're doing wrong, very wrong...no, even more, absolutelly wrong XD

If you have the disks you don't have to download the program files!!!! you need to install the game thru the disks. Don't download setup.exe, setup-1.bin neither setup-2.bin!!

Just download the training files. Delete everything related to lockon and flamming cliffs and start again, do as I explained:

PD: for the record, those numbers (2), (3), etc are there because you have duplicates.

I also have the LOP and if I understand you correctly once I install FC2 I then need to download and install the 1.2.1 LOPFC patch correct? TC
