  1. Black Shark 2 it's another product. ED being nice guys (or trying to solidify their client base :)) offered this upgrade options but truth to be told they did not have to, how many games did you see being offered at a discount just because you bought the previous product in the series? So be happy with this upgrade discount... wait for some other offer (from time to time somebody sells DCS producs at great prices, keep an eye on the forums, not long ago A-10C for 5EUR... BS2 for 17EUR) if money is tight and stop complaining, you're not making any fans. I think you got your money's worth from BS1... if not, then you won't from BS2 either so maybe you don't need it after all.
  2. Maybe you're using the Mk-82Air? They are specifically designed for high drag; either deploy them in slick mode or use the non Air variant.
  3. It happened to me, i'm not sure what were the reasons as I was still flying towards the target after bomb release and lase time was lower then fall time (i think autolase should work even if longer). I just lased manually and hit the target all the same. Maybe some random failure? I thought it was cool all the same...
  4. I voted for the Sabre, because add to that just the MiG-15 and we would finally have a real multiplayer not-only-coop sim. Plus MiG Alley ruled ;).
  5. ED realeased the Headtracker API, that's how we got Freetrack working (10x samtheeagle!). So it's not up to ED, anybody with the programming skillz can pull this off now that Micro$oft released the Kinect SDK.
  6. You can not use the ministick at all unless you have the Saitek SST software installed and running. It is not a standard dx controller/button/axis and therefor not recognized by Windows or any software/games without running SST. I found the software to have a really small memory footprint, didn't cause any problems for me. You might want to disable unnecessary sofware when playing, also you don't need to run SST at all times, you can disable it running at win startup using a number of utilities (for instance CCleaner) and just running SST prior to starting the game. There are two apps actually, default location is something like this: "C:\Program Files\Saitek\SD6\Software\" SaiMfd.exe "C:\Program Files\Saitek\SD6\Software\" ProfilerU.exe
  7. Yeah i only noticed after voting, it's a multiple options poll, it would have been usefull to know before voting. Though it's really rather silly ;).
  8. Yes it will get me one baby per month in average over a nine months period. Also, i heard this joke before, not so smart actually, no offence. I really find it hard to believe there are multiple completelly different teams developing various DCS project, so that it won't be any overlapping, possibly resulting in delays in some of these projects. That being said, hard to understand all the drama, it's not like one must buy the DCS Mustang if one is not interested. And working on more than one project can sometimes be a more efficient use of existing resources, so that the average release time can actually decrease even if there's an initial delay. Personally i can't think it would be a great tragedy if the Hornet gets delayed a few months, even one year. I mean, what's the big rush? They (DCS that is) are not just as interested in getting in their products out as fast as possible as us (the buyers), they are more interested, this is a bussiness after all. I'm really more interested if there's any other assets to go with the P-51, obviously i'm not the only one. I'm sure it will be a great simulation, however flying the Mustang in a modern environment, maybe strafing a few trucks just doesn't do it for me. Also, imo the low terrain graphics are the week point of the DCS (current) graphics engine, that will not help.
  9. Ok so it is possible, i got the solution on SimHQ: -> on CDU FPBUILD page use left buttons to select waypoint -> press CLR -> done! :D So there seems to be a mistake in the manual, it should be L5, L7 and L9 and not "R5, R7 and R9". Mod, again, pls move this back to main A-10 forum, this has nothing to do with mission building.
  10. Well why don't you post the message? Btw 10x a bunch samtheeagle, having Freetrack working in x64 allowed me to finally buy the sim.
  11. Yes of course. Just seems like the damned things are undeletable ;p.
  12. Well, suppose I want to modify an existing flight plan by removing some of the existing waypoints. And it is a compulsion i have :) to delete unused things. Anyway, thank you kindly for your answers. I guess the quote i gave from the Flight Manual in my previous post it's a mistake then.
  13. The flight mention does mention the posibility @page 252: "Waypoints, R5, R7 and R9. Used to delete or overwrite flight plan waypoints. "
  14. Hallo gents, Can someone please enlighten me as to how one can remove waypoints from flightplans or delete them entirely? If possible. I know how to insert / add waypoints but i just can't find a way to delete them. I do know that markpoints cannot be deleted, still, just removing stuff from existing flightplans would be great. Also, how do i delete flightplans? I did look in the manual fyi, can't find the info there...
  15. Quick note for innocent users, just ignore WR, he's a known NP bot troll with many a time to spare :P and like a hundred similar posts in Cliffs of Dover forum just recently. Natural Points makenting morons are guilty for this dumb tactics, in the end there will always be people willing to spend money on a hassle-free headtracking solution, but instead they resort to this illegal and immoral monopolistic tactic, just trying to bully out the competition. Tough luck, ain't gonna work, especially not with some big players coming in soon to a theatre near you :P. The irony is a lot of people would buy TrackIR anyway (hell i would have) but they insist of being the big bad wolf, trying to kill all competition. I guess being an a*hole get's its reward in the end no matter what.
  16. Face tracking is obviously a lot trickier then tracking three dots with known distances between them. First of all make sure your face is clearly visibile for the camera, which means proper light and (if possible) not very cluttered background. It will still require a lot more processing power then Freetrack. About the "retard" hat, well you don't have to wear a hat, there are other solutions, for example a clip. I don't understand why you would wear a hat you don't like anyway.
  17. We don't. It would be rather difficult really, since nobody stole NP code. Which is closed source, while the alternatives are open source, easy to check if you know what you're doing, not so easy when you believe NP bots bs without thinking.
