  1. I have been flying F-18 with Thrustmaster stick, rudder peddles and throttle, no problem. Switched to A-10C, none of the three work. What would I need to do to get them working so I can use them in both aircraft? Thanks
  2. No problem on the custom view, I will do a test on each to see what view they are. thanks for the help.
  3. Dangerzone, thanks a bunch, that is what was happening. Price of being a "newbe". Also, would you know where I can get a list of what each of the "custom snap view 1, 2, 3, 4..." are? I would like to map the coolie switch (possibly) so I can see closer up on the screens in the cockpit. I am old...
  4. Hello, I am using Thrustmaster WARTHOG throttle, joystick and rudder peddles in VR DCS F18. I was binding/map keys on the throttle and joystick and had to reset their profile because I am new, and messed things up. When I deleted and added the existing Thrustmaster throttle and joystick profiles, I saw a "Rudder" profile but it was not Thrustmaster...it did not work and, the Thrustmaster Rudder peddles no longer work. I looked in Windows Control Panel, the rudder peddles show as T-Rudder under devices. I am able to see them work when used/tested in the control panel, but not when I am using VR DCS F18. The rudder peddles were working fine until I decided to try and bind/map keys on the throttle and joystick and had to delete the profiles and load the existing profiles. What do I need to do to get the rudder peddles working again? Thanks in advance!
  5. Would anyone be able to assist me with the shuddering I am having?
  6. Flappie, the shuddering is happening again. I got a new VR headset - Valve Index headset kit. I plugged it all in, no problem and got updates on what was needed. I double checked to make sure the files you discuss3d earlier are still in place and, I have 16 and 32 gb. Any ideas on what is causing the shuddering to happen again? When taxiing, the wheels are shuddering and it happens also while flying. note: the Valve Index is very nice. I had the VIVE HTC and there was a significant amount of Sceen door effect to the point I could not read the lettering on gushes and dials. It is 200% better, virtually no SDE. now if I can get it to run smoothly, all would be great. any assistance would be appreciated.
  7. What are your thoughts on the Valve Index system? I see that there is virtually no SDE.
  8. Wow, thanks Taz1004. That is interesting but looks to be a little over my head. May just look into getting an upgrade...less dangerous
  9. Thanks for the recommendation. Do you think there is any adjustments I can make with the VIVE HTC?
  10. Hello, I am using the VIVE HTC (a little older) when flying the DCS, F18C. There is a significant amount of "screen door" effects that impacts the quality of the images. I wear glasses but have the prescription inserts for the goggles so i do not need to wear my glasses. I was wondering what the community would recommend for a VR equipment "upgrade" to get a clearer image that eliminates the "screen door" effect while flying in VR. Also, are there any recommendations you can provide that can address the screen door issues I am having with the VIVE HTC? Thanks in advance for your recommendations.
  11. Cool, thanks. Oh, and thanks again for the help with stuttering. It runs a ton smoother.
  12. Thank you, I am updating W10 right now so hopefully, this will take care of the issue also. one last question. How do I adjust the light and dark of the landscape? Thanks again.
  13. Thank you, I am updating W10 right now so hopefully, this will take care of the issue also. Thanks again.
  14. Flappie, thanks for the assistance on this. i adjusted the GB to what you suggested. I have attached two of the most recent logs. One is listed as "old" and the other is listed as "debrief". dcs.log.old debrief.log
  15. Flappie, I added two folders to exclusions; C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World 2 folder and C:\Users\my name\Saved Games\DCS folder and I still have stuttering. Attached are the most recent log and the DxDiag file. When taxying and looking at the F18 from the outside, the landing gears are very stuttery. dcs.log-20210106-234942.zip DxDiag.txt
  16. Thank you Flappie, let me add these 4 folders and see what happens.
  17. Thank you Flappie, let me add these 4 folders and see what happens. Also, I fly this in VR...not sure if that makes a difference or not.
  18. I am flying the F-18C with Thrustmaster HOTAS stick, throttle and rudder. When taxying and flying, the program is very "fidgety" kind of like "stop and go" in split second intervals...not smooth. I have done hard shut downs several times with no improvement. Any suggestions on what is going on and how to address/correct the issue? Thanks
  19. Hello, I am new to the VR world. I have Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog replica A-10 throttle and joystick. I have downloaded Steam VR, VR A-10C, and VR F-18C. When flying the A-10C in VR, there are no issues with both the throttle and joystick. When flying the F-18C in VR and in free flight, the joy stick works but, the throttle does not. Originally, when I moved the throttle, it would adjust the pitch and yaw peddles but not the thrust. The aircraft throttle is locked into a position and cannot be moved using the HOTAS throttle. I have read a bit on how to program the throttle by deleting commands and adding some others to the “Thrust” cell but to no avail. Again, I am new to this so I am not sure how to get the throttle working when fling the F-18C in VR. Is it possible to get a step, by step process on what needs to be done to program the throttle correctly and address the throttle issues or, is the Thrustmaster throttle not going to work with the F-18C in VR and I will need to purchase a different throttle? Any and all help would be appreciated - THANKS!
