Troops In Contact v1.1 Released – Now with Retreat logic, Formations can now retreat intelligently by moving directly to a specified waypoint—without needing to pass through remaining waypoints in the sequence. As with other movement logic, retreating can be triggered by schedules, flags, or phases. But in v1.1, a new option has been introduced: the "strength" command. For example: strength=0.25 This tells the formation to proceed to the specified waypoint if only 25% or fewer units remain. While great for triggering a retreat, the "strength" command isn't limited to that—it can also be used to fall back to defensive positions or re-stage based on combat effectiveness. Key Features, New strength command Triggers movement when a formation's remaining strength falls below a specified threshold. New direct command Skips all intermediate waypoints, sending the formation straight to the designated waypoint. (in most scenarios, you should use direct and strength together for units to properly retreat) Bug Fixes, Fixed an issue where air defense units would fail to engage airborne targets. Resolved a minor bug causing nil errors in logs when units were destroyed under certain conditions. Fixed a logic issue where infantry riding inside destroyed IFVs would not reach the correct "Dead" state. Release Video Available here Thanks to everyone for the excellent feedback.

The One Actual DCS community has spent over a year engineering Troops In Contact. Troops In Contact transforms the DCS ground combat experience to be more immersive and fun. The AI units are no longer overly accurate terminator bots, are now more dynamic, and they can navigate complex terrain. Troops In Contact has been tested so far with 800 units in close proximity to each other and to human players, without overloading the server. All of this without any coding or specialized knowledge required. Join the Troops In Contact Discord https://discord.com/invite/pVGv8d6rDv Release Video

Are you looking for a unique and realistic experience? We have spent the last year revolutionizing ground combat with our custom mods to make Combined Arms immersive and fun. The AI units are no longer overly accurate, are now more dynamic, and they can navigate complex terrain. Our mods allow us to have large scale battles with many units in close proximity, without overloading the server. The v82nd Task Force “All American” replicates the United States Army with both helicopters and ground vehicles. That means we have pilots in the air working directly with our members who are driving around. To add even more layers of fun, we have people manning the artillery, so air or ground units can call for fires support. Our challenging missions require a solid foundation in your discipline(s) because teamwork is required. The fixed wing squadrons in our community also fly in support of ground maneuver elements: creating one of the most complete battlefield pictures in DCS. We train and conduct large scale missions adhering to as close to the real-world US doctrine as possible Although, we work in a complex environment, we are “milsim light,” we keep the fight in the fight and not in the paperwork. We are part of a larger DCS Simulations Community called One Actual. We are currently recruiting the following: 2 – OH-58D Kiowa Warrior Pilots 4 – AH-64D Apache Pilots 2 – UH-60L Black Hawk Pilots (MEDEVAC and/or Lift) 4 – CH-47F Chinook Pilots 3 – Ground Force Commanders (May play as Division Commander, Ground Commanders, Fire Support Officers, MQ-9 Operators, etc) We operate all our aircraft in multicrew except for the Black Hawk. Our mission designers are an extremely talented and provide some of the most realistic scenarios in DCS. The other squadrons in the One Actual community operate in support of our ground maneuvers (Recruiting open for all squadrons below): · F-18 Hornet Squadron · AV-8 Harrier Squadron · F-16 Viper Squadron · Red Air Squadron (against our ground maneuvers) · JTAC Unit · Controllers at all levels (Recruiting all Roles) o ATC / CATCC o Strike o TAOC o C2 o AIC o ABM o Ground Force Commander How to Join · Step 1: Join the One Actual Discord community https://discord.com/invite/RBtRATruqb · Step 2: Make a post in the General Thread about what you are looking for. · Step 3: Receive an interview and an orientation flight or ground introduction. · Step 4: Open to training and learning. · Step 5: Deploy into battle and experience MILSIM like never before! Who Can Join? · Must be 18+ years old · Have a working mic & headset · Willing to communicate & work as a team · Respectful and dedicated to a MILSIM experience We fly 2100 Eastern every Thursday and Saturday.

Workaround to Disable Deck Crew - Instructions Inside
CaliJoshua posted a topic in DCS: Supercarrier
I figured out how to disable deck crew for our squadron's missions... The table below are my tests. "Saved-ME" represents whether MY CLIENT had deckcrew enabled in options when I saved the miz "Join" represents whether MY CLIENT had deckcrew enabled in options when I joined the server "Feature" represents whether I saw deck crew on carrier after joining server Saved-ME Join Feature ---------------------------- on off on on on on off off off off on off So looks like client option ONLY matters for the person saving the miz in the ME. Under MISSION OPTIONS in the ME, be sure to leave "enforce" checkbox unchecked for the "Enable deck crew" TLDR; 1. Mission makers need to disable deck crew under Settings->Special->Supercarrier 2. Open your miz and make sure under MISSION OPTIONS->MODULES->Supercarrier that the ENFORCE and VALUE are unchecked for "Enable deck crew" 3. Save miz. -
Thank you

Enforcing deck crew via mission settings doesn't work
CaliJoshua replied to Ahmed's topic in Bugs and Problems
We had the same problem. Please hotfix this for those of us that do no use the AI/use human controllers and LSO. -
Can we please fix the ability to disable the deck crew and the flares. We don't use human controllers and LSO.
