ONE ACTUAL - Sim Meets Reality ONE ACTUAL members experience the DCS sandbox with a realistic human interaction at every level within a theater of operation. ONE ACTUAL squadrons trains to real world standards for Close Air Support (CAS), Strike Coordination and Armed Reconnaissance (SCAR), Air Intercept Control (AIC), and more. Such realism provides our real life subject matter experts positive training reps. This means you will have human comms and work as a team from takeoff to the tactical phase of your mission, and until you are home safe. Imagine the immersion of working with humans at every phase of an operation. Your wingman, your air controller, the JTAC on the ground, or the AIC in the air, all working together to overcome challenges we can’t on our own. We also are fortunate to have dedicated human red air that flies profiled red air, and who have their own mission to accomplish. Such a high level of competency is earned with dedication to a continuous mastery of skills. Debriefs play a key role in our community culture and they are perhaps our best learning tool. Thought we fly realistically in the air, outside the cockpit we are just a bunch of dudes hanging out and having fun. We are best suited for pilots who know their airframe well and are ready to apply their skills to overcome challenges with planning and teamwork. Our goal is to fly and train enough to tactically deploy our airframes as a team. This includes AAR, CASE III, CAS, SCAR, AIC, and more. Age 18 plus, and we are mostly plus. We mostly use Syria and PG maps on Open Beta, but NTTR and South Atlantic have a place as well, but are not required.
