Hi to all, I have had my HOTAS now for a couple of years with no issues, just recently I have had problems with erratic unusable TDC axis events. It is also the same in T.A.R.G.E.T so not a DCS issue, but as the unit is used prolifically on DCS someone may have the answer!! The problem only occurs if a touch the STBD throttle smooth metal plate with my hand and the TDC axis output goes daft. If I touch with insulated items no problems. I can touch any other part of the throttle with no problems. Just not the plate!! If I wear marigolds, the effect is sort of less depending on which part touches the plate. NOTE. I can not protect the empire in yellow marigolds! To me it seems that there is a ground fault? But not too sure. Anyone else had this issue? Probably a back to Thrustmaster question? Hi to everyone, I admit, I do not have the knowledge to take this on. I have searched the VR bug topic for 2.9 / Pimax / VR and nothing I can make any sense of, also looked at steam. So, 2 days ago I was PIMAX 5k on 2.8, start ritual was VR power on PiTool start / connected / close PiTool Start DCS 2.8 (not steam) Steam VR auto start All good. Updated to 2.9 and the following i have noticed. VR power on PiTool start / connected / close PiTool Start DCS 2.9 (still not steam) takes ages to load. NVIDIA screen shows for 5 secs steam does not start DCS 100% start with music. Screen black. Start steam VR - kills DCS and VR power on PiTool start / connected / close PiTool Start steam VR. All good. Birds and house place. Start DCS 2.9 (still not steam) takes ages to load. Get partial VR image (blue clouds) for 25% then steam dies. and Steam VR work on its own and DCS 2.9 works on its own I do not have a clue where to start with this!! My lack of knowledge. I have only done the simple on/off vr and pc. Has anyone seen this before, can point me to a thread I have missed or please offer me some direction? Thank you for reading, ZM

Hello to all on this Forum!! It is great to be part of something kinda wonderful!! And I am enjoying the start of this new hobby. Anyway to point. I purchased my kit at the end of last year, and unfortunately? I had to head to Oz for 4 months work over the winter, so I have not had a great deal of hands on time to set up. But, and gathering from a lot of the threads, which I do struggle to understand. There are a lot of settings, opinions, and ways to skin a cat when it comes to VR set up!! Some cleverer people seem to have tweaked the settings to the n'th degree and are quite happy. I, myself have only managed to follow the more basic set up, and have a nice experience, but still struggle with the clarity and definition of the cockpit. And maybe it always will be? If I zoom to an MFD it is clear. But if not, it is blurred, I have over time started to see word shapes, so can guess. And the centre moving map, I can not read the writing around the sides on the screen. Is this standard for all, and I just need to get on with it or do others have a crystal display?? Now I do come under the "Some nice gear but no idea" bracket, and even though I am trying to understand a lot of the technical explanations and advice, I do end up in a bit of a hoilicks!! Are there any online webinars to help me with this stuff that anyone knows about? Or, have I got as good as it gets and time to get on with the flying?? Any relevant thread pointing or basic tips would be really appreciated, Happy shooting. I think my "Rig" is at the bottom. But essentially I have a Pimax 5K+. Cheers,
