  1. The Crusaders are an online group of aviation and DCS enthusiasts who simply enjoy flying with each other. We belong to Joint Task Force One (JTF-1) with our Air Force counterparts and share Carrier Strike Group One (CSG-1) with our fellow carrier-based squadrons. We maintain several servers that offer ad hoc missions and support an ongoing dynamic campaign consisting of PVE based scenarios supplemented by PVP aggressors. ______________________________________________________________ VMFA-122 Mission Statement Maintain a fun and supportive group that flies the DCS F/A-18C. Use available resources to recruit, train and maintain mission qualified and proficient flight leads and wingmen. Provide mission capable sections and divisions in support of JTF-1/CSG-1 missions and campaigns. Provide a consistent presence on JTF-1 servers during Sunday and Tuesday “flight nights.” Explore opportunities to train and provide mission capable pilots to JTF-1 who elect to serve any mission supportive billets of LSO, Marshall, JTAC, FAC(A), GCI and mission planners. Continue exploring opportunities and methods to improve the quality of the experience within DCS for the Squadron, JTF-1 and the DCS community. ______________________________________________________________ If you'd like to fly with the 122nd... when you hop in, let us know you came from here. 2. Sunday nights are mission nights within our joint squadrons. This cinematic has been made using footage of flights trapping at the end of a long, hard-fought mission to defend friendly ground targets from bombers and their escorts. The unique part about flying within a squadron based on a carrier is that once the mission is over, landing the aircraft can still be as much a challenge as surviving the threat over enemy territory. Many hours go into learning and improving upon proper Case 1 recoveries so that everyone makes it home safe and sound.
  3. This is the beginning of a new series of videos in which I explore the idea of DCS Cinematic Shorts. The goal is to keep within a 2-minute time frame, yet still portray the entirety of a sortie. Keep on the lookout for more of these to be on their way. This one is a simple feet dry takeoff and landing pattern just to get it started off.
  4. This is a video I put together highlighting CSG-1's VMFA-122 squadron's year of 2020. I fly the Nikel 305 jet within 122. Been a crazy year in the world - but still having a great time flying all year long. For any inquiries about joining us, there is a discord link posted in the description. Any video related questions, shoot me a PM! Someone help me out if you know how to fix that just being a black box and not playing. Here is the link to the video:
