  1. Hi SwissMAG and thanks for your good words. My A-10C dashboard is no longer attach to my desk but on my aluminum structure that you can see in the #61 post. So, yes the goal here is to build a full Mirage 2000C cockpit (1 dashboard, and 2 lateral consoles) which can be attach to my aluminum structure...and detach to play someting else (A-10C, Racing simulation...).
  2. Thanks draken!!! But it is not really a metal pit, there is also lot of wood and plastic...
  3. Thanks Askerov ;)
  4. Here is a picture of the inside. Still WIP.
  5. Thanks a lot LobinJaevel!!! My printer is a cheap Dagoma DiscoEasy.
  6. Hi everybody! I start to work on a big part of the cockpit: the ADI which is call "la boule". Here is the 3D model which of course is WIP and a attempt to print the half sphere on my brand new 3D printer. I am rely not sure to succed in this adventure but I will try. The real difficulty is that the Mirage 2000 ADI move on 3 axes (Pitch, Roll and Yaw) and there is very litlle room to install motors and electronics...
  7. Thank you very much myHelljumper!!!
  8. And a little bit of color!
  9. Thank you Askerov!!!
  10. Here is some news. I added thumbwheels and instruments bakground.
  11. Thank you very much Lobinjaevel!!! Oh yes please :bounce::bounce::bounce:
  12. First try in the cockpit!!!
  13. Thanks guys, Glad you like it!!!
  14. Thank Duckling! I designed the HUD in order to ba able to integrate a screen and a mirror inside but I am really not sure to do it. The first reason is that my cockpit is a modular cockpit, I can play DCS but also other flight simulator or racing simulator. So the dashboard can be mounted and unmounted. A real HUD must be tuned realy pricesely to be precise when you aim at a target for exemple. So if I realise a "real" HUD I will spend lot of time to place my dashboard really precisely each time I want to play DCS and it will not be very handy.
  15. Thanks CrashO!
  16. Integration of SERVAL screen and some painting.
  17. Thanks myHellhjumper!
  18. The VTH is almost finished :cheer3nc:
  19. I think Pokeys57U is more suited for this task. It is much more flexible and there is more available IO. You don't have to be a programmer to export something from DCS. Make a search on the forum and you will find all you need. Your link seems to be a good start. For PPA, PCA...you can use DCS-BIOS with the Mirage 2000 module from EXO7. DCS-BIOS can also be used for switches and buttons and replace the pokeys or leobodnar boards.
  20. Awseome news!!!!! Thanks Sgt_Baker.
  21. This week I modified the rear of the HUD bloc and I added some details.
  22. Thanks again! Yes, aluminum extrusion is really nice to build with: very easy to assemble and extremly solid. I buy mine on Motedis internet site. It is the cheapest I found.
  23. Thanks ward8124, Glad you like it. The screen I am using is not just a screen but a hybrid between a PC and a tablet: Pipo X9. My pit is a modular pit on which I can attach different module: a steering wheel and a pedal box for racing simualtion, a yoke, a lever box and a rudder for General avaition simulation, my unfinished A-10C dashboard and soon my Mirage 2000 dashboard and lateral consoles. You can see the whole construction here: http://www.checksix-forums.com/viewtopic.php?f=286&t=170180 For my A-10C dashboard I attached some VGA and USB screens on it but I had to modify the display configuration on my PC when I plugged or unplugged it, which is not very handy. So for the Mirage 2000 I have the Pipo X9 which will manage its own screens for the VTB (Radar screen) but also another screen fo the SERVAL (RWR ). The SERVAL screen will be connected via the HDMI connector. The DCS export (VTB and SERVAL) are send to the PIPO X9 via the IRIS software which is really awesome (A big thank to Gremlin77 and whartsell !!!!). The PIPO X9 will also manage DCS Bios for the others instruments. This architecture allows the dasboard to be connected only by an Ethernet cable (or wifi) to the main PC and to make the plug/unplug operation very easy.
  24. Great!!! It is not the same dashboard at all on the III but it will be a pleasure to see such a pit!
  25. Thanks Askerov!
