Greetings, first of all excuse me if I am OT a little bit. So far I've used a 27", 4k, 60Hz monitor and I wish to make some improvements in terms of immersion. I'm doubtful whether to switch to a much larger monitor (I am thinking about the Acer Predator CG437K and I would put it directly on my desk) that basically is something like a "more of the same" solution, or aim at vr. I know that here you are all vr enthusiasts, but obviously you also have experience with various types of displays, therefore I would like to know if you think that a large enough monitor, coupled with a TrackIR, can be a valid alternative to vr. When I talk about "valid alternative", I am not referring just to pure immersion, that is obviously another world in vr, but also to global aspects including the ease of use of a monitor (that is basically a plug-and-play thing and an omnipresent peripheral) and the fact that right now with my pc I'm already able to achieve a very good visual quality with 4k resolution and medium-high graphics settings. Greetings, in order to have some "company" when I start a free flight, I'm used to add some planes and/or helicopters here and there in the airfield, as static objects. After a while, it becomes annoying to always see the same aircrafts around me every time when I start the flight, so I wish to know if there's a way to assign to every object a probability to be there. So, given that every object is selected as a specific aircraft and so is its position in the airfield, at least it's not there every time. Thank you.

Ok ok, it's all my fault. As Vibora said, the problem with TCN 33X is that it's surrounded by mountains. At a certain distance and angle, the signal is there. If I fly toward the TCN, the signal eventually disappears but it's there again as I am near enough (it seems a bit strange to me that if a mountain blocks the signal I can't receive it unless I am near OR FAR ENOUGH, I'd say that to be very far is never good for the receiver). Anyway I confirm that it works like that, and I also verified selecting others TCN stations.

I've done a test flight and I think it's definitely a bug. As Ramsay said, the signal is there for a while (TCN 33X), then it stops emitting. The TCN and VHF signals are both gone, since in the magnetic compass the big arrow is rotating and the slim one is struck in a fixed position. Setting the TCN knob on OFF and then on T/R again doesn't solve the problem. And it's not depending on the altitude, since the signal disappeared when I was at 12,000ft. and still wasn't there at 28,000. The only "solution" to somehow resume navigation is to switch to another emitter, then I can have (at least for a while) a working signal. Note that if a go for a different TCN emitter, I receive the right direction in the magnetic compass, but the slim arrow is struck since the VHF frequency is still the one of the "broken" emitter.

Greetings, I'm having fun in navigating the Nevada map using the TACAN or VORTAC stations. I'm in single player. Unfortunately it occurs a bit often that I lose the signal from the selected station. If that station transmits in VHF too, I still can get the VHF signal. Sometimes I can solve the problem by shutting off the TNC receiver and then put the knob on T/R again. I don't think that it's a problem of terrain masking, since it can also happen at 12k feet. If I switch to another station, the signal of that station is usually available.

Greetings, I’m looking for a method to have some analogic indicators (especially the HSI) on a secondary display, in order to have them always clearly visible. In particular, I wish to do that for the C-101EB. Can someone help me? Many thanks!
