let's analize the problem . what choices ED has to face : - touch the largest public possible > a popular or renown aircraft - keep alive the excellency image the company has to simmers eyes , not turn into commercial compromises i mean arcade stuff . so the plane has to be realistic and to do so has to be provided with consequent documentation - jump over the opportunity of grabbing the maximum players from FS , to do so you need to release a plane known by lot of persons , everybody knows the F-16 i'm not sure everybody knows the SU-25 , nobody is perfect meanwhile :D - to keep in mind the storyline the plane has to have a long life duration before being obsolete i think the F-15 (with A2G capability shown in A-stan) has serious chances and would be a good air to air alternative to the two precedent muvers . but the question is is there enough documentation about that plane which is a major plane in US defence strategy . there's another thing to be taken into consideration it's the russian market which represents a large part of the consumers so

that's exactly what i was pointing out , hope X-plane will stay a simulator and will not tend to become a game in a search for money strategy

agreed owned cream of fs9 paywares Citation X , PIC 737 etc , X-plane planes are much more reactive , with X-plane when you land you'd better not finish your soda at the same time . with fs since your reduce your speed , your low down the flaps there are few chances you can mess . concerning XP 10 let's hope in won't be a FPS killer , that's what kept me not buying FSX

i don't see the interest of a G2G missile . the only interest would be a nuclear warheads fitted system , if the Klub-M is equiped with such system then i said nothing but according to Wiki seems it's not

F-16 would be a challenge after Falcon 4 for ED . it may be risky but it may pay too , as if ED manages to reach F4 realism , and personnally from what i've seen since now i have no doubt about that , they could get the F4 community and get a label of excellency to hardcore simmers eyes too . F-15 with A2G capabillity shown in A-stan could be a judicious move too
