  1. When mapped to HOTAS controls, the ODUs do react to commands from the HOTAS, but do not animate.
  2. Is there a way to force the VTB to the Left MFD? Due to the M-2000C VTB export happening via the bound key in controls, when I enter the cockpit the VTB is yet to be exported, and the RWR is already on the left MFD, even though in the lua I have it set for the coordinates of the right MFD. I guess, because the RWR takes the first available MFD on start, regardless of the lua, and the left MFD is empty on start until I hit the VTB bound control, at which point the VTB takes the next available MFD, which is the right MFD?
  3. MATE!! Love Your Work!! This has been eluding me for ages, I'm a multi-monitor guy as well, never thought to try Alt Enter! Thanks a million LG! Cheers, Nick
  4. I'm sorry, re-reading my last post I realize I didn't explain myself well ;). I didn't mean that DCS is writing over the default kneeboards with each update (you're correct, they definitely do that :) ), what I meant is these dark grey 'To Load Batteries' pages are over-writing the default DCS route maps. I'd really like to see those default DCS route maps again, I just can't figure out how to get rid of the 'To Load Batteries' pages.. and it's so weird that it's only happening in the Hornet and only in VR.. @AlaskanGrizzly, did you have any luck with my log file? Thanks again for checking it out mate! Nick
  5. ...and it looks like the 7 'template' kneeboards mentioned above are actually the missing DCS standard route kneeboards... looks like they're writing over the standard DCS route maps for some reason.
  6. Some progress to report; After reading up on DCS Cleaning and Repairing, and discovering that all changes are saved in a backup folder, I decided to go ahead with it. Then fired up DCS, VR, in the Hornet, and brought up the kneeboard. Saw the same as in my screenshot above. In frustration, I tried again tapping forward through the pages... and found that the above image is there for 7 pages, then the kneeboard pages that I've manually added (not using KBB) are all there. Better! However, the standard DCS pages are all missing... Hopefully my log file will shed some light on this...
  7. Thanks Grizzly, here it is: dcs.log
  8. Thanks mate! Before I try a running a DCS repair (as I'm not sure if that will also affect other mods), I should add that this issue was happening before the new kneeboard arrived (again, just in VR). Just in case I did a poor job of explaining the issue before, below screen is what's appearing on the Kneeboard, is it familiar to you? Finally, can you confirm that the only lua file modified by KBB is 'device_init.lua'? If not, can you tell me which file is modified? And if it is that lua, I compared mine to a friends unaltered F/A-18C device_init.lua, using the 'Compare' function in Notepad++, and mine is the same as his.. Thanks again Grizzly! Nick
  9. Quick question here, I created a test kneeboard for the F/A-18C, and then decided to ditch it and build my own (but still using your great app to parse my pdf manuals :). I tried removing the kneeboard, and now I'm seeing a dark grey kneeboard with instructions on how to install AA batteries... a quick reverse Google Image search solved what it was; it's the message that's on the base plate of a commercially available kneeboard. So I'm assuming that's a 'base' template from Kneeboard Builder? Could you help me get my F/A-18C kneeboard back to the standard DCS one so that it'll display pages again? Thanks! Nick EDIT: I forgot to add, this only happens in VR for some reason.. thanks
  10. Same error here, same crash/hang. Shame, as the main reason I'm using this is to reposition the kneeboard due to my multimonitor setup (by default it appears inside one of my external DDIs). KBB is also not detecting my 3rd party mod aircraft, such as A-4E.
  11. Disregard! It's a little buggy, but it's working :)
  12. I'm not seeing the new A/G EXP modes in the Hornet, anyone else? The EXP1 box appears but can't be slewed around w/TDC... (and yes, I SCS'd right to assign TDC, diamond is in corner). Anyone else? Happy to be proven wrong here :)
  13. Hi all, Just noticed this today; mapped a few Kneeboard commands to my Thrustmaster Warthog stick for the F-15C (was feeling nostalgic ;), and each time I quit DCS Open Beta and go back in, the mapping's are dropped.. and yeah, I'm clicking 'OK' to exit the Settings in DCS (had to check that). Thanks, Nick
  14. Is this the right forum to report this as a bug? Thanks, Nick
  15. Hi Devs, Would it be possible to stop the auto-assignment of axes to TM Cougar MFD's? As a first step to configuring my MFDs I have to go in and clear out Axes assignments, which seems a little ridiculous.. I mean who would fly with an MFD?? Food for thought :) I know you guys have a long laundry list of things to work on, just thought this one might be 'low hanging fruit', and easy thing to quickly fix. Cheers! Nick
  16. My Cougar stick is using the S3 button as a Shift, and I set mine up in DCS as a modifier..
  17. Disregard! Keyboard shortcuts weren't on in Voice Attack. When in doubt, RTFM. Cheers, Nick
  18. Hi, Here's the details of my Voice Attack setup first: - install path E:\Steam Sim & VR Library\steamapps\common\VoiceAttack - I purchased Voice Attack through Steam, and I use it for both Steam and standalone DCS - I placed the Vaicom Pro folder into the Voice Attack Apps folder as instructed - opened up Voice Attack (as admin), it's successfully seeing it, and I added the Vaicom profile The issue is,while Voice Attack can see Vaicom Pro,. LCtrl - LAlt - C isn't opening the Config Window.. it's not having any effect. Is this due to my Voice Attack install being on an external SSD? Thanks for your help! Nick
  19. Gudday all, Forgive me if I'm missing something obvious here, but after reading through this forum my heart sank when I saw that the community A-4 will no longer work in DCS, so I jumped into the latest DCS World Open Beta and tried to take the A-4 for a spin and it worked just fine...
  20. Figured it out during a customer support call with Elgato: - Stream Deck software had to be running 'As Admin' (headslap) Everything else was running as admin, but not the Stream Deck app. Thanks for your help all, we can put this one to bed ;)
  21. Thanks @Bad_CrC, To help me narrow this down, could you provide the following? - Are you running standalone DCS World or the Steam DCS World? - Which software version are you running on your Streamdecks? - Which 2.5.6 version are you running, is it .4931 like I am? Thanks again!
  22. It’s already installed on C.. However both DCS installs (stand-alone and Steam) are on external SSDs.
