i agree wholeheartedly mate too many finish in 5 hours cod style games around its nice to find something that takes time to learn and get better at .. at least your getting your moneys worth in play time :)

well i think your looking at it from the wrong pespective the mainstream gamers that use ps3 xbox360 will be looking for games that they can get into straight away:joystick: (not have to study a 700+manual for days:smartass: ) and have fun playing ..the main selling point for most consol games is the FUN factor ...... so why not look at it this way it is bringing our niche market to the masses and a few of those gamers are gonna get hooked playing sim style games and then look to a more serious sim like bs or a10 .....and that is good for us simmers and for companys like ED :):pilotfly:

ok ive seen a few posts on here that state ppl are getting 20+40 fps when running bs a10 ?? and they seem to be running nice spec machines ?? now when i press right contr and pause my fps counter reads anywhere from 70 to 100+ fps ?? is this correct or is it displaying it wrong ? here are my specs intel I3 2.98ghz dual core 3gb ram xfx radeon hd 5670 512md gddr5 600gb hdd ocz extreme stealth 600w psu also can i expect to run a10c when the full retail release comes out or should i start saving to upgrade my rig ? many thanks

yeah im using game mode for now till ive learned all the abris and other stuff then i plan on using sim mode and learn to fly the shark proper and im using a saitek cyborg x stick so far the only problem im having is successfully targeting targets in front of me ? many thanks for helping me so far :)

HELP A NEWBIE THREAD !! HELP GUYS i dont know what has changed etc but my joystick has stopped workin the way it should and im not sure what to do to correct it let me explain whats wrong i used to press button 5 to lock onto the nearest target and if i kept pressing it it would cycle thro all targets now for some reason when i press the same button instead of locking onto a target infront of me it locks onto a target miles behind me usually a friendly and i have to cycle thro hundreds of targets untill it will lock onto a target infront of me and then if i kill said target it automatically goes back to the one miles behind me ?? its driving me nuts ive tried changing it in the settings menu but its not working ?? is there anyway to clear my joystick profile alltogether and then reload a better one ?? help !!!! darren

well i installed the second patch and my campains stopped working etc so i went back to just having the first patch and everything works fine now for me so im sticking to that ;) hope this helps

hello ive been looking on this forum for a few days now trying to find a solution to my problem but no matter how much i search i cant find anything i have just purchased BS and i installed 1.02 patch everything works fine but when i try to start the first gorgiean oil crisis campain it lets me play the first mission all fine but then when i try to end the mission and select quit it just sits there and does nothing in the end i have to alt tab and start task manager that reports that BS has stopped responding so i have to end task and then when i reload it hasnt saved my mission or stats ?? im running this on windows 7 64 bit with admin rights etc i have a i3 cpu 2.8ghz 3gb ddr5 ram 640 gb hdd radeon hd 5670 1gb 600w ocz stealth xtreme psu and when i playing the game i get very good FPS etc ????
