  1. This is why I love flying in VR. I just lean my head over, probably in the same way the original pilots had to. It all adds to the realism
  2. Firstly, great mod I love it. It's only a small matter, but I have noted a definite break in the engine sounds when starting up and shutting down. On shut down for instance, there seems to be a period of silence between the initial shut down of the engine and the spool down. Plus when the sound of the engine spool down starts, it cuts off abruptly before the engine fully spools down to silence. This issue occurs every time, but I have also noticed that on occasion there is also a break in the sound during afterburner selection. This second issue I am unable to replicate with reglularity, it just happens from time to time. These issues aren't game breakers, they just detract from VR immersion a bit in an otherwise great module Thanks
  3. Issue resolved. It seems with these two modules it was some kind of conflict with the VR hand controllers. The controllers themselves were not bound to anything, but if I switched them off the problem went away. So after a bit of testing I found that if I disabled the hand controllers in each of the affected module's control bindings menu, this issue went away but I was still able to use the controllers in game.
  4. I've checked them all and rebound them just in case, but all bindings are sound
  5. I'm going to blow some well deserved smoke up some well deserving backsides, by saying congratulations so far on 2.7. The clouds are utterly superb in VR, better in my opinion than MSFS 2020, and couple this with the far superior flight model and the whole experience in VR is just sublime. Additionally, and I don't know if this has been intentional or not, but the shadows of the clouds on the landscape, has added a whole extra layer of beauty to the maps. Valleys look deeper and the sensation of altitude is more pronounced. Well done ED on raising the bar on an already amazing sim....now fix the VR hand controllers ;D
  6. I play exclusively in VR so I don't know if this is an issue related to VR or if it's repeatable on a flat panel too. When I use the 2 Heatblur mods that I have, the F-14 and the AV8B, when in cockpit view the pitch controls don't work at all and the roll axis only intermittently. However if I switch to any external view the controls work just fine. Yaw axis through my rudder pedals seems unaffected, and all my other mods work great as usual. I use the Thrustmaster Warthog Hotas and the Thrustmaster Pendular peddles.
  7. I have had a reply on my ticket and they have clarified that it is a bug and is earmarked for a fix. So fingers crossed it won't take long
  8. I have had this same issue for as long as I've been playing DCS. Over time I have found that when not using the hand controllers, I place them in my lap with the handles facing towards my junk. This has the effect of making the in game hand avatars face away from the stick and in this position they rarely seem to automatically grab the controls
  9. Not only has the pointer lasers gone, but the thumbsticks no longer work, so I can't rotate dials or even flick a switch off once I have turned it on. I only ever play DCS in VR and it is now completely unplayable. I hope this is just a bug that's been flagged for fixing, because without hand controllers DCS is finished for me.
