  1. https://www.amazon.ca/Ergonomic-Keyboard-Compatible-Laptop-Workstation/dp/B0DWJ3HGJL? Edit: Had a thought and to make the plate and joystick removable, he could just use some of these quick release levers where he uses screws on plate to atach it to the tube metal. https://www.amazon.ca/Bicycle-Release-Skewer-Cycling-M8X55mm/dp/B0D9GDGVBQ?th=1 If thse after market brackets can fit on your current chair, then you dont need a new chair. My idea is to cut them so they are a bit narrrower and have them welded. https://www.amazon.ca/JECOMPRIS-Ergonomic-Retractable-Office-Chair/dp/B0FCCL6WKH? Sure you have to remove the joystick when done, but beats buying a new chair.
  2. Be Carefull! Test on an old laptop or something. Not your new rig! There is also a version that has 4 buttons on it. Look for it at the end. Flight sim throttle: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5440863 D/L from the links he provides, and read the page. He shows you what to do. DO NOT SKIP! https://github.com/JammyJ1mJ1m/FlightSimThrottle Here is a link to help be a bit more quiet https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4599583 Arduino Joystick Library https://github.com/MHeironimus/ArduinoJoystickLibrary Easy Switch: https://github.com/JammyJ1mJ1m/easySwitch 4 Button Throttle https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4572199 Circuit board design https://mega.nz/file/5hYEnaKT#Do_0LLvn8MpcwfsK564IMBSMZMiB1nlqBuKjJ7Wu6z0 Throttle code: I found a comment from the maker: This is the code you have to upload with the Arduino IDE on your Arduino Pro Micro 32U4. https://pastebin.com/sA26rfCC Hope this helps someone and that it all works in your game. Here is bom for ShoYun's throttle https://3dmdb.com/en/3d-model/flight-simulator-throttle-quadrant-by-shoyun/8195713/ All thanks to JammyJimJim and ShoYun
  3. I saw this, which is a plit throttle. No buttons. The OP used an arduino and "Used an Arduino micro to interface with the PC and read the potentiometer signals from the throttle itself. There is a library for Arduino that allows it to read like a USB peripheral, like a keyboard, joystick, throttle etc" No idea which library, where to look. Looks like he got it to work on DCS. This is the STL(I think) https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4445717 If I can find the software this could help the budget limited playes?
  4. It is frustrating as I look at a few yt reviews, take a look at a few other sites and then always run across a few individuals who had issues with xyz board. Yes nothing is perfect, but I need stable with a bit of room for growth re gpu and m.2 slots. It takes me a good while to save up, so, I have get things right first time. I'd read on a few sites that X670E handles the lanes better and has more lanes as than the B850. I remember reading about the gigabyte gpu board cracking issues and that put me off them in general. I would happily go with asrock once they prove their boards are no longer cooking the X3d chips. Hopefully AMD/Asrock are working on it. And for those who are interested, HUB does a review on the B850. The motherboard boxes surrounding Steve were pretty funny. VRM temps at 24:57
  5. No higher than $300 Canadian. Plan is for a 98003xd. Something with good vrms and good pcie lanes for the gpu/nvme. I think that I have looked at so many videos and reddit posts that I have decision paralysis.
  6. Thought that this could be a good discussion on motherboards. Yes, there are still B650's out there but they will become harder to find as time goes on. I decided that perhaps an X670E would be a bit better. I have been look at HUB X670E reports on thermals and for sure want something that runs at 80c or lower. Asrock looked to have some boards that were appealing, but until I know for sure that they have solved the issue with AM5, they are a no go. Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated.
  7. Gamers nexus video from 2 months back. Funny how Steve couldnt get in until someone loaned him a badge.
  8. I do not know if this has come up. It is a shame because most of the Asrock boards seemed to do well in the HUB tests. Asrock Megathread on reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/ASRock/comments/1iui7lx/9800x3d_failuresdeaths_megathread/ Asrock forum on reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/ASRock/
  9. I am linking to the part where they turn a 4090 24gb into a 4090 48gb. I think I read that they got the funding for the movie that they want to do. Wonder if team green mgmnt is even aware or cares? And finally, if a shop like this can add that vram to a 4090, why do we have to pay such premiums?(Sarcasm)

  13. I wonder if this would work?? Anyone able to give it a try? My main concern is for pitch/yaw/roll. https://github.com/rOzzy1987/MacroPad?tab=readme-ov-file
  14. I saw a few of these usb/bluetooth keyboards with knobs here and on certain sites east of here. I dont know if the software would work correctly. Or trust it. Then I stumbled across a post mentioning Sympyt. https://simpyt.fisadev.com/ Has anyone tried this or heard of it?
