I couldn't agree more. I don't consider the F-18, F-16 "cold war planes" When I think cold war I think Mig-23, Mig-25, Mig-21, Su-15, F4 phantom, F-100, F-105 thunder chief, A4 sky hawk, F-104, Mirage IIIC, Mirage F1, English Electric Lightening, F-8, A-7, A6 and many more.

After the video in may it seemed like they were close to EA but I guess they got stuck on the avionics/hud which is fine.

Hello, I just want to say great work on this pack the models look very nice and this is all quiet impressive for a 3rd party developer. It is rare to see someone put so much effort into ground units in DCS. I was just wondering if you could make a TOW ATGM stand just like the KORNET ATGM already in the mod. Another suggestion I have that I think would be very cool is a recoilless rifle mounted on the back of a pick up truck just like the heavy machine guns already in the mod. Anyways I think this mod is very cool and keep up the great work!

I don't think the Spanish versions ever mounted a laser designation pod. But the Iraqi, French and Moroccan versions of the Mirage did have laser designation of some sort. I think the F1EE for Spain does have a laser rangefinder in the nose for CCRP or something like that.

The F1Ms Cyrano IVM radar did have anti shipping capability and was compatible with the Exocet missile however Spain never operated this weapon. If they did add it, it would be very cool.

Yea this game needs to focus more on cold war aircraft in my opinion.

Mirage F1 would allow for quiet a few campaigns to be done. Like the Iran Iraq war, Bush war, Gulf war Perejil island crisis and perhaps Libyan 2011 intervention. I just really want this plane, but I understand that it takes time to make a good quality module.

Back in November they said they hoped to have EA for the Mirage F1 CE in half a year which is may however we all know what that nothing is completed on time in DCS. I just hope it comes out during the summer.

This may be a dumb theory, but after a quick internet search I discovered that Spain had their first Mirage F1CEs delivered in June of 1975. I don't know the specific date, but I suspect that the devs know and maybe something will happen on said date. But probably just a dumb theory lol.

Ok lets say they work on an F-104 instead of a mirage F1 variant. They would have to develop an entirely new flight model, textures, and weapons and the systems along with them. This would take years to complete before even a flight demonstration is ready. Where as with a new variant of an existing plane they don't have to spend time developing a new flight model. They only have to set up new weapons systems, avionics and internal textures.

The G could take dumb bombs, un guided rockets and nords from what I have read, but still only Aim-9Bs as the only AAM it could take

I think a lot of people would rather have a Mirage the could carry Exocets and laser guided missiles then an F-104 with two AIM-9Bs

Does the Mirage F1 have a lead indicator/radar gun sight? The F-5 has one so considering this is more advanced I would assume it has one?

They said half a year or 6 months on November 23rd of 2020 until early access on likely only the earliest version being available. Exactly 6 months is May 23rd so hopefully late may early June I am thinking?

Any news or announcements soon by any chance? I am really hyped about this plane and the last we heard from the devs was in January.

I dont know much about how modules are made, but the flight model would basically remain the same the only thing they would have to do would be cockpit textures and weapons coding I think.

I want the EQ for an Iran Iraq war campaign I might make along with Heat blurs up coming Iranian tom cat, but also because it has better CAS options. I have spent hours researching and I am 99% certain the EQ model carried the ATLIS laser designation pod which allowed to use of the AS-30L missiles also the Exocet would be a lot of fun in a tanker war in the Persian gulf map. Along with this it mounted the ARMAT anti rad missile. I am not sure if Iraq had any LGBs tho.

I hope they make an F-1EQ sometime in the future

Are they just making Spanish air force variants or are they planning on making more later on?
