Here's my experience.
I've a I9, 3090, 64G Ram and a Reverb G2...is motherboard a factor?
Apart from the first boot in MT which worked, subsequent boots didn't. I had a normal image on my monitor but in my headset I'd see the standard hanger inverted, nice picture but no sign of the menu screen. On other occasions I'd get a mostly black image in the headset with a slither of the home screen menu on right side. There was also a hint of static noise in the largely black screen.
I read about XRNS being a possible issue, so I didn't start it or SRS....Some success, I had a higher hit rate in terms of getting DCS running in MT, I could even start XRNS and SRS post DCS boot and it all worked. However on most occasions it takes me about 5 goes to get DCS to boot this way, the failures being as described above. I always have the correct image on my monitor.
It almost seems like there is a timing element in play as to when I initiate the G2 in relation to the DCS boot screen with it seems greater success if i fire up the G just as the 2 x progress bars come across the screen.
I'm not a computer wizard but to me there is a random nature as to when I get MT to boot properly which doesn't sound very computery to me. Is theis a G" problem or a DCS problem...or both?
