  1. did the uninstall of beta 2.32 - install of beta 2.35 still does not work can you send me the zip files?
  2. No - did not uninstall the previous beta version - should I have done that ?
  3. Question? as a workaround . Can I (with MSI viewer) extract all these msi files and just dump them in my working SimShaker Sound folder?
  4. does not do anything - the "stable installer" works fine though
  5. I do not know if this is the correct forum - I downloaded the latest beta Simshaker Sound module - but the installer does not work! I'm currently at version 2.32 (beta SimShaker Sound Module)
  6. after updating to Version 2.8 In VR : if I open the Kneeboard, then the mission generated map is not visible . It shows a black page (with on it a description on how to change batteries ??) and the waypoints. (using HP Reverb G2 ) The kneeboard pages created by me (start up procedures ...) are visible I checked this also in 2D: No problem there!
  7. I wanted to try out the "new" rockets option in the Mosquito. But I cannot assign any of the rocket actions to any of my HOTAS (not the VKBsim gunfighter joystick, nor my throttle) . all these 'fields" in the Control Options page are "greyed" out for me. except for the keyboard category. Any solutions? DISREGARD: my joystick.lua was corrupted - Problem solved
  8. I had the same problem - DCS 2.7 (beta) did not want to launch after the update (had disabled all mods in OVGME) I also had the WW1 flying circus mod in my saved games folder. After deleting this folder - game start normal
  9. Hi, I wanted to try your mod. I downloaded the .zip file in my OVGME "root" folder and enabled it. But when I start up DCS (with my HP Reverb G2) and I try access the menu LSHIFT+F7 nothing happens! I do not see menu (neither in G2 or on monitor) what did I do wrong? by the way I also do not have a "d3dx_user.ini" file in the bin folder - also not in de downloaded .zip file
  10. It definitely works - much clearer view in flight. I have a slight increase (approx 0.4) in GPU and CPU median frametimes. But this might be in the "margin of error" So for the moment I will keep it enabled and will do more testing.
  11. I rechecked and I found out that if fpsVR is running but with NO in-game overlay, then I have no microstutters. Strange! Anyway I will not start fpsVR automatically with SteamVR.
  12. My system: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X @ 3.8 Ghz / X570 Aorus Elite / MSI GeForce RTX 3080 / 32 GB DDR4 3600 MHz I'm very new in the VR "business" . I have the Reverb G2 since about 2 weeks and I have been trying these last weeks to optimize my settings for DCS (mostly followed the advice of Thud / VR4DCS for WIN 10 - NVidia control Panel - DCS graphics and VR setting) I have a same/similar problem as described by @Hiromachi . My "test mission" is escorting bombers over Normandy. When I get close to the bombers the "microstutters" start (the pink lines in fpsVR) . Through this post I applied the "ALT-TAB" trick and it works. The microstutters disappear (for a while) . They return after a while when the GPU load gets high but again the ALT-TAB makes the go away Afterwards when closing / ending the mission the microstutters re-appear again and stay on even after DCS is closed! After a re-boot and restart of SteamVR and DCS, by accident fpsVR did not load/start. Guess what I had NO microstutters during the entire mission. through the FPS counter in DCS my frames stayed always between 90 and 45 (reprojection) and only dropped to 30 when the bombers dropped their payload. I re-played the mission now twice without fpsVR and no microstutters at all - I think this might be an answer I would say an interaction problem between fpsVR and my RTX3080?
