  1. Moonshine's post in AG CCRP lofting issues? was marked as the answer
havent had any trouble with it, all bombs fell within a reasonable margin of error (no wind, all errors originate from inaccurate flying of the ASL during the pull up to release)
make sure you keep your speed, dont immediately pull up when the cue appears. you might fall out of range again due to bleeding speed, pulling up too steep or both. i plug the burner shortly before i start my pull up and once the pull up cue appears, give it a second or two before you actually start pulling, that way you should stay well within release parameters

  2. Moonshine's post in Offset Aimpoint was marked as the answer
Offset Aimpoints are not intended as targets, see the comment from Raptor linked here, in addition, the video showing it is outdated, refer to the changes listed in the viper mini update thread also linked below. hope that helps.
in order to use Offset aimpoints you have to first input them in the DED DEST page to the respective steerpoint

  3. Moonshine's post in Tgp and Maverick question was marked as the answer
Maverick needs to be in PRE mode, master arm on ARM or SIM and since you are still on the ground, Ground Jettison switch needs to be on
  4. Moonshine's post in Is AGM-65 boresighting borked in MT preview 2.8.3.37556? was marked as the answer
you forgot to turn on "GND Jettison" as you were still standing on the ground.
  5. Moonshine's post in Selected steerpoint on HSD not clear was marked as the answer
declutter your HSD. or select AG radar or TGP then the selected steerpoint will have a bigger "crosshair" on it, indicating the SPI
  6. Moonshine's post in Mark point as ILS was marked as the answer
You can by using an OFLY markpoint.
from there the GS can be held using the OFLY wp as a reference.
also remember, the one setting the OFLY markpoint had to improvise all the way to even set that point for the others to then follow and make use of it.
by setting multiple OFLY markpoints along the descent you can improvise a glideslope, so the following planes just fly from markpoint to markpoint at a given speed
Edit: since creating OFLY markpoints sets them at sea level (MSL), youll have to change its elevation to the desired value manually, so they appear at the right position in your hud
  7. Moonshine's post in SA-11 Snowdrift (SD) not showing up on RWR was marked as the answer
does show up for me but only after klicking the "Search" on the threat warning auxiliary panel.

Edit: took control of your track, just before you enter the threat ring of the SA11, clicked on "Search" on the threat warning panel and SD showed up just fine
  8. Moonshine's post in Why don't I get datalink? was marked as the answer
press List-> Enter -> you will see that GPS is set to "Off" (even though your switch in the back right panel next to your seat is switched on)
then press 1 (or any number besides 0 on the ICP) and it should turn it on. then you will get DL.

at least that did it for me at times
  9. Moonshine's post in Co-ordinates and the JTAC - no good for F-16 was marked as the answer
yes you can. go to the DEST page on the DED (List -> 1) or simply change to Steerpoint 21-25 using the STPT page (4 on ICP)  and then you should have Waypoints 21-25 that can be entered as MGRS (dobber right "SEQ" to switch between LAT-LONG and MGRS)
or here and older video prior to the implementation of the DEST page

  10. Moonshine's post in GBU 31 won't release. was marked as the answer
even though you did power the gbu31 on, you did not wait for them to align. upon taking control of your track right as you fly above the target, SMS page still says "A4" meaning they are still aligning. sadly switching MFD page even though you are in the same master mode (AG for this one) does not finish the alignment in the background. you need to have the SMS page selected until the bombs are properly aligned otherwise it just "pauses" the alignment process (pls fix ED......).

also do you really want to drop GBU31 that low? it isnt a high drag bomb, the risk of killing yourself is rather large..

  11. Moonshine's post in Stores Jettison (current F16 Steam Beta) was marked as the answer
When selective jettison is done (on the SJ Page on the MFD) then hit the Wpn release button (pickle button) to drop selected stores

the „jettison“ button is the emergency jettison and will always get rid of all stores except a-a missiles
  12. Moonshine's post in HAD and TGP not aligned was marked as the answer
    To avoid confusion:
Initially Steerpoint 2 is your SPI location, so your TGP looks exactly there. By then using the HAD and locking on to the emitter, the SPI changes to where the HARM targeting System THINKS the emitter is and as the HARM targeting system is now dictating the location of the SPI, the TGP will slew automatically to that location as long as you hold the lock on that sam site on the HAD.
the accuracy of this location is indicated in the HAD as PGM. PGM 5 is the lowest accuracy, PGM 1 the best. in order for the number to drop, flying an arch around the assumed emitter location helps the triangulation to narrow it down - hence dont fly in a straight line to it. normally you will get PGM roughly down to PGM 2, in which case finding the SAM site within your TGP field of view should be possible.

in case i misunderstood your question, please post a trackfile

  13. Moonshine's post in Missile Evasion questions was marked as the answer
there are multiple reasons for the RWR going silent
1 - you are in the notch, missile cant see you anymore - RWR silent
2 - you are in a bank so that the missile is in the blindspot of the RWR (directly below you or above you)
3 - missile lost track on you and cant find you anymore

when defending a Fox 3 (Amraam for example) if it starts again shortly after your maneuver, chances are you are no longer in the notch and the missile has reacquired you and is tracking again
or a new missile has been fired. usually you can see a radar guided missile on the RWR as "M". if there is only 1 M showing and the M is blinking, chances are its the same missile that has found you again. if there is a second M showing and blinking, a new missile has been fired. if the M is on the RWR (not blinking) but the RWR is silent, the missile does not see you but your RWR detects the missiles radar beams

  16. Moonshine's post in Laser Code Set to Zero at Start was marked as the answer
Kneeboard is simulating the ground crew setting the code on the bombs.
Pod needs to be fully running (right hardpoint power on), make sure thats the case. Maybe check if you have it equipped in the first place😃
