Crap,I screwed up, that cable needs a 12 pin to the PS, & the one I have is in use. Things run alright with the 4 singles I'm using, I just thought I could clean things up little.

Thanks for quick reply, GPU has 12 pins. I watched a clip & wondered why he chose 2 instead of 4, I have the same card.

I need cables for my new 4090, one has 2 to PS, & another has 4 to PS. Which should I get ? Thanks for recomendation.

I found the problem, I had a win11 update recently, & it screwed up my system, settings changed, apps disappeared, took me half a day to fix everything. The pad must have got messed up too. After I got another HF8 download everything works. Much appreciate your help, thank you.

I read a post here to start SSA when in the ac seat, & it worked, now I can't get it back. I stopped & started HF8 a couple times, no help. I don't remember the sequence when it worked. Is there one that will repeat ? Also I guess you can't run highest rez, & use alt/enter, right ? Thanks for any help.

Thanks, I guess I should have ask before actually trying it. I only did one install of stable intending to switch to beta, & go back to stable if needed. In the middle of that, I thought I have the room, I'll just run both versions. I copied & saved stable install, & tucked it away. Then change to beta, pasted stable back next to beta, & pasted saved games folder back. Everything works fine, except when I start stable from the desktop icon, it doesn't update, & have to click on the updater. I'll have to wait for a beta update to see how that works.

Are there simple steps I could follow to run both versions somewhere ? I know about skate's work, but it's much more then need.
