Thanks Wags and ED for allowing me to show a peek at what they have in store. I wish I had the time to invest in something like the 476th vFighter Group because they are gonna have a field day with this training environment. Same with mission designers like Wrecking Crew and Eno - the playground is fantastic!

Like Funk I change HOF on the ground (never in the air as that's unrealistic) and have never had his issue.
Also, there isn't a "select all bombs." Do you have a track file you can share?

Well after playing Dcs A10c IV enjoyed it but I'm needing something a bit more speedy I'm finding it a bit slow and in need of more excitement has anyone had the same feelings.

The thing is we shouldn't have to have to create work around a for ATIS it is something the sim should provide.

I think from people's perspective the frustration is due to the fact that the vague dates have continuously been pushed back for over a year (concerning 2.0 anyways).
And I'm it complaining just explaining what I have heard multiple people say.

Wicked!!!! Man thats an easy startup. I love the A10 but that startup gets really long after a while.
I don't have access to the tech data but I can't imagine the INS aligns that quickly in the real mirage.

might be interesting to hear about what an a10 does during peaceSo I answered what we (the A-10 maintainers and pilots) do during peace. We fix jets and pilots fly the hell out of them and we fix them again. Wash, rinse, and repeat.

Maybe it's a good idea to include Aviano Airbase, and part of Adriatic sea for carrier group.
I honestly don't know how you couldn't include Aviano.

Training, we sometimes fly a lot more at home than we do overseas.

Let's just say it isn't battle damage but a jet that broke Saturday was just fixed this morning.
There is no such thing as a "canned" fix time. Everything has an average but nothing is ever the same two times in a row.

It is my understanding that the GAU-8 (As with canon on any missile or bomb laden fighter/bomber.), have always been a secondary weapon.

I have to announce my profound disappointment at there being no RSBN, PRMG or ARC in NTTR. I can't even find my own bum without RSBN. I can see myself landing at Groom Lake thinking I'm in Nellis and wondering why everyone is looking at me weird. :music_whistling::lol:
Map and compass is hard for us who are navigationally challenged.
Sounds like the perfect opportunity to learn.

I've purchased the map to support ED - It looks like a mammoth amount of work went in to it and it really is a stunner. It will be great to have a new theater to fly in.
But, can I ask a question (and this is a genuine question as I really don't know).
What is it about the Nevada area that gets people so excited? I'm a Brit who got in to DCS because of a love of flying in general rather than from a personal history of loving military aviation exclusively, so I know nothing about Red Flag or the history of the area. Why is everyone so pumped to be flying around here?

For me (and 476th vFG members) it's about having a USAF base and proper training areas. We'll use it for vHawgsmoke and other internal and community events. We've got big plans for NTTR and have had them for multiple years
