  1. I would just suggest doing this normally; in my experience there's been no difference in quality/screen size playing in windowed mode vs. fullscreen. Steam announcements or new email popups won't crash the game either.
  2. It's painful locking it up in the first place :)
  3. Thanks for the reply. Anything I can do to make tracking air targets with the TGP a little less painful?
  4. Is the A-A mode of the TGP bugged? I'm doing the AA training mission, and the text mentions that using the TGP will make tracking air targets easier since it should highlight them on the HUD. However, there's no diamond that shows up on the hud to even show where the TGP is looking at like it has in A-G mode. Am I missing something?
  5. Well, it definitely wasn't your profile; the default Saitek profile has "Left Mouse Button" listed as the name for the button next to the ministick. This just happens to be one character too long for the X52 MFD, which freezes it and makes bad stuff happen. I renamed it to "Left Mouse", and now everything is peachy.
  6. I think I may have solved my problem with my stick freezing up and bluescreening my system. If the custom names of the bindings are too long to fit in the MFD screen, then it apparently causes the problem and freezes up everything. I'll have to test this out later tonight. I'm curious as to why this wouldn't happen to other people if they're using the same profile with the same custom names though...
  7. I'm pretty sure I know what was causing the ministick to stop working during a flight. Looks like the X52 profiler software is freezing/crashing whenever I load up a profile, with the added kicker of bluescreening my computer when I shut down or unplug my X52. The MFD also seems to freeze when this happens. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find anything about this specific issue. I've got what I think are the most up to date versions of drivers and software for Win7 64-bit (6.0.4.1 and 9.9.9.9 respectively), so I'm pretty much at a loss as to what would be causing this. In the mean time, I've re-mapped the HOTAS Slew control to the hat on the throttle, and that seems to be working out pretty well.
  8. Any idea why the ministick sometimes stops responding during missions? Is there a mode in the game where this might happen, or is it something to do with the config files?
