  1. Hi Tundra, I'll attach the stl files to my original post tomorrow. cheers John
  2. Awesome Andrew, thanks for that! Those two dials are part of the standard Hornet startup routine, it’ll be great for to have them controllable. Cheers John
  3. Thanks Golbin, funny your’re saying that. I’m building that very thing right now.
  4. Looks like RADAR_SW and INS_SW aren't implemented yet as I cannot get them to work as a multi-position switch either. Bleed air works no problems.
  5. Hi, Could someone please help me understand these aircraft LUA files in DC BIOS? If I look at the function definition for defineTumb in Util.lua, function BIOS.util.defineTumb(msg, device_id, command, arg_number, step, limits, output_map, cycle, category, description) Then I look at how it's used, defineTumb("RADAR_SW", 43, 3001, 440, 0.1, {0.0, 0.3}, nil, false, "Sensor Panel", "RADAR Switch (MW to pull), OFF/STBY/OPR/EMERG(PULL)") I can see that the RADAR control is device ID 43 from devices LUA. But where can I find a reference for the commands and arg_number parameters? Thank you. cheers John
  6. Hi Andrew, First of all thank you for developing this library for the F-18! I'm having an issue which could just be me, I'm using the rotaryencoder function for the INS_SW and RADAR_SW. DcsBios::RotaryEncoder insSw("INS_SW", "DEC", "INC", 10, 11); I see the INS_SW DEC and INC messages but the sim INS rotary doesn't rotate. Other switches are working okay. INS_SW DEC < 2018/08/08 22:31:02.878143 length=11 from=6204 to=6214 INS_SW DEC < 2018/08/08 22:31:02.885124 length=11 from=6215 to=6225 INS_SW DEC Should this be working or is there something I'm missing? Thanks. cheers John
  7. Very nice Terry, it sure makes a difference also I'm from Aus as well! :)
  8. Thanks Guys. javelina can you PM me your email address so I can email them to you?
  9. Hi, I play DCS in VR so like having shaped buttons I can easily find. I've built the launch bar, hook and canopy switch headers for F-18 to wrap around my rear switches. I used the existing screws to secure it down. Nothing is glued so they can be easily removed. I've added a small brass rod to pin the upper sections together but anything could be used, it would even be okay without it. STL files attached. cheers John SwitchWrapper.zip
  10. That panel looks amazing, such precision and clean lines! Happy to have helped out a minor amount. Cheers John
  11. Thanks mate :) PM me your email address. Cheers John
  12. Also I read that DCS.BIOS updates the current state of the switches periodically. For some reason that wasn't working for me so I had to modify the code to poll the current switch state every few seconds.
  13. Thanks mate. It's in 3 main pieces, 1. Top panel with all switch sockets as one lump of plastic 2. Main box section that houses the Arduino and Fuel receiver mechanism. 3. Pitched base that sleeves into the main box. Other small things like the top panel screws, component clips and knobs were printed separately. Happy to share the stl files but they are custom designed for the switches I used so wouldn't be of much use. Its all printed in ABS on a Zortrax M200, 0.14mm layer height.
  14. Thanks Hans. Nothing interesting like that, they're just toggle push-button switches.
  15. Sorry this is purely a hobby at this stage. Cheers John
  16. Thanks! If you give me your dimensions of what it needs to connect to I'd be happy to modify the socket then send you the lever handle STL file. I filled then sanded the top surface to get a smooth surface, it was also printed in HIPS for easy sanding. Cheers John.
  17. Hi, Thought I'd share a 3D printing idea I'm considering to see if it's feasible to 3D print panels. Everything is printed including all knobs and screws. The switches and POTs are push fit to make maintenance easier. There's a mode switch on the back so I can change the button profile between the A-10 fuel panel to a generic button box. E.g. landing gear replaces the fuel door receiver and the top buttons controls the electrics. I primarily play in VR so the aesthetics aren't important. STL Files A-10C Fuel Control Panel.zip cheers John
  18. I have the same issue as you Neil, I more often than not get a yellow rectangle as a cursor that elongates as I look further away from the centre. Only happens on DCS 2, I've tried to repair it hasn't helped.
